Today was our first time visiting Bear Town and wow, we loved it!
The setting is perfect for young children who love to role play.
All the different rooms are so realistic and the attention to detail is amazing.
It is incredibly clean and everything is done to couch a high quality.
The cafe is lovely, it has a great range of food and drink.
The staff were all so friendly.
Will definitely be returning

Very cooperative and friendly staff, I was late arriving for our session but the staff were amazing. Great play areas well managed on this visit.

Really lovely place. We visited when we were in Devon on holiday. The place was very clean and my daughter had lots of fun in all the rooms. Cafe was lovely too - lots of choice.

We visited with our daughter and granddaughter who is nearly 5. We were very impressed with the layout of the town and all the accessories. Our granddaughter absolutely loved it and was very happy to just play on her own for most of the time The whole place was very clean . We also thought the food was good and in fact better than we expected. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and not too costly

Kids loved it here, they barely stopped running around for the 2 hours we were there (except for rushing back quickly for a bite of their lunch!) Would highly recommend it here, and would love there to be something like this nearer to where I live. My children and 3 and 5 (almost 6).

Great place for kids and a chance to use their imagination to play, BUT!!!!……… We are very concerned about the hygiene!! Some time ago we went there and a few days later a sickness bug ripped through the family. We kind took catching this with a pinch of salt as it is easily passed and could have been just bad luck.
We returned today but are alarmed by a few things. Our toddler went through the tunnel from the jail to the builders yard and came out smelling of wee. My wife noticed this and thought it was odd but couldn’t figure out where the smell came from. Our toddler then demanded my wife have a go at going through the tunnel, she obeyed but then her nightmare began. Half way through the tunnel, she was hit with the stench of urine coming from the carpet! After a little more play, we headed off, this is where my wife noticed her white socks were “minging” (her wording). Does this place ever get cleaned? We were in for the first session of the day so clearly it hadn’t been cleaned over night. At the end of our session, there was no sign of cleaning in between. I am by no means a clean freak but some basic hygiene is surely essential for the safety of children.
Also, just to give a heads up, if your going to go for the Mac’n’cheese in the cafe, might be worth seeing how much it is in Asda as there “Essentials” range can’t surely be £6.95 a portion.
It is a shame as this is potentially a great environment for kids to learn and develop but chances are, they could come away with something more than you bargained for!!!

We have received numerous positive reviews about the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities, so we apologise that this isolated uncontrollable incident occurred during your session. We always encourage visitors, who have any concerns about any elements of their visit to speak to a member of the team, so we can resolve the issue during the session.
We are sorry to read that you felt disappointed with our food offering during your visit with us. Our pricing is always competitive, but we will take your feedback into consideration during our pricing review.

We visit Bear Town Cullompton often. My granddaughter, who is 2 yrs old, loves it!
It is set out like a little town with a grocer, garage, post office, hair dressers, coffee/cake shop, etc. Everything is child sized.
There is plenty of seating with tables for adults along with highchairs for little ones. You can buy a tea or coffee and a snack there too!

My 6 year old son had one request this holiday and it was to go to Bear Town. We have only been once before and he loved it. It's clean, the food is good and reasonable.
The 2 hours went so quickly and he didn't stop playing. The easter egg collection at the end was really well done.
We travelled 1hr 40mins to get to Bear Town and my son is already asking when we can go back.
The only negative is my 2 older children, 16 and 15 couldn't come along and see their family as they were too old to enter the building. I think this rule is a shame as at that age they would just sit at the table and not interfer with the play.

To ensure a safe and secure environment for our youngest visitors, we have to strictly limit entry for children from walking up to 7 years old. Whilst we appreciate this does pose a challenge to some families, we have to protect our play environment for our youngest explorers.
