‪In the heart of the Park of Garraf, there in a modernista Palace from 1890 líes a Buddista Monastry. It is a winding Road leading to the Monastry either by foot or car. the Monastry has a museum where activities can be enjoyed. The Monastry is only open at the weekend to visitors, you have to pay for a guided tour. There is also a small gift shop/café. Personally its a long way out and I thought on the while It was quite disappointing and rather unkempt. The garden área lacked attention and the lake had been drained and abandoned. There are some vantage points where you can see the beach of Castelldefels from quite a great height. If you are joking go prepares with drink and good as there are no shops in the surronding countryside.‬

‪A temple, a sacred place you would think, but nor the inhabiting monks nor their visitors seem to think so... - Hiking up to the temple is like following a trail of rubbish where all sorts of plastic are laying on the sidewalk. - The shrubs around the building are used as public toilets, with tissues dumped right there. - The romantic lake and the forest around it are scattered with more tissues and condoms...romantic indeed - The locals say the lake next to the temple has been drained when the monks have moved it...hmmm -_- So I have two questions Visitors, if you are clearly at the very basics of evolution and unable to contain your own rubbish, what makes you think that a Buddhist Temple is a good place for you to visit? Monks, if you are taking payment for visiting your sacred sight, would you not at least maintain it clean? The moto of our visit was "Deja las monkes en paz..." - No, do not leave the monks in peace or they will get lazy! Other than that, the place has a peaceful energy and of course very beautiful‬
