‪This is a genuine Roman theatre, restored for concerts, open air dining and plays. There is a large stage with modern lighting and the "stalls" have modern seating. The summer programme is eclectic and will include tribute bands (some of dubious quality), classical concerts and operatic greatest hits. There are also plays, but unless your Italian is up to scratch, you may struggle. In recent years, there has been a Roman banquet, organized but the commune, which is great fun, with local volunteers dressed as centurions, senators and ragged beggars. Some tips. If you want to sit on the original Roman terracing, bring a cushion, since the stonework is unyielding. The location is set in a small woodland and can be buggy on a humid night. Apply the strongest repellent you can lay your hands on and you'll be ok. If you've got your own transport, there is a huge amount of parking on a non-muddy field immediately adjacent. There is normally no on site catering, so bring your own refreshments, unless of course there is a meal as the main event. Also, toilet facilities come in the form of a portaloo, so if that is an issue, make arrangements in advance.‬

‪A small but nice roman teatre out in the provinces of the old roman empire. Well worth a visit, spescialy during summer when there might be a concert to watch.‬
