Through sea beach road, Mohana is very nearer to Old Digha, a walkable distance. However, we travelled through main road by vehicle, where distance was high. The road through fish market was very narrow. It is a big fish market with stockpiles of sea fishes. Being a fish market, the market place is not very clean and smelly. Hence if one can stand that fish smell, then only a visit is recommended. Through fish market, we reached to the Sea beach and while return, we took the sea beach road, that exits from Hotel Seagull, old Digha

We are here in Kolkata for the first and we are here in digha which is the best place of west Bengal and this place is very nice

Mohana fish market is spread in a very big area.We visited that market on a auto.The road is very narrow.This is a stockplace of various sea fishes.I saw only one ATM of axis bank there.Two hours will be enough to visit that market.

It's my pleasure to be there in correct time.. Little bit drizzling but lots of visitors come here to see real fish market.full market is busy to buy and sell.mainly fishes are transport here to different market of west bengal.various kind of fresh fish are seen during this visit.

the mohna.... beautiful junction of river and sea. vastness of water, mixture of normal and sea water.
fish market is full of fresh and live fishes. heaven for fish lovers.

If you in digha and you not to visit mohana so you missed to hole tour of digha its a very important place for digha fish lover or sea food lover must go there

Nice market with variety of fish.

The fish market is around 2.5 KM from Digha old sea beach. Can be reached from old Digha or new Digha by beachside on foot. The beachside is very well built and maintained by our state govt.
The fish market is very tricky.
We need to procure extreme care while purchasing fish. The merchants can sale rotten fish.
We walked along the beach. It was a great weather that time. By the time we reached Mohona, it was sunrise. We enjoyed the sunrise from Mohona.
We entered the Mohona fish market. Its a great place for fish lovers. We bought 2 big hilsa fish each of 1.2Kgs, and pomfret at a very low price. Later we came to know that it was Chandana hilsa - very high priced hilsa species.
