Yaacov is very knowledgeable about all the things to see and do in the Golan Heights. He took us to three wineries, an olive oil boutique, a sheep cheese restaurant, along with historic and military battle sites. He knows the proprietors, what makes each location unique, and the differences between the wines and their relative cost, etc. Great trip enhanced by Yaacov's stories and experience.

Was a really amazing day. Yaakov was pleasent, knowledgeable and great to spend time with. We went to 3 wineries, each different, each interesting and welcoming. Got to meet the wine makers as well. Stopped for lunch at a great working goat cheese farm. Their cheeses were tasty and an excellent variety. The fresh salad was a perfect accompaniment. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to experience the real Israel wine scene.

I recently went on a memorable winery tour of 3 boutique wineries and an Olive Oil producer in the Galilee. Before the trip, I gave Yakov a tough assignment. I wanted to taste the wines with the vintners so that we could explore the origins of the winery and better understand the creative process. I also find that the vintners themselves are attuned to the nuances of the tastes/bouquet.
I was very happy that Yakov delivered. We had a wonderful day tasting wines and olive oils. The wineries we visited were unique and different one from another. Their wines were top notch. And we experienced the unique opportunity of talking at length with the “inventors” of the wines. All in all, a fabulous experience. 2 thumbs up for Yakov and Israel Wine Journey.

We had a fantastic time with Yakov. He is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and we learned a lot about the wineries we visited, as well as about wine tasting in general. We look forward to touring with him again on our next trip to Israel.

Our wine Tour with Yacov was sensational. His knowledge of wine, the vineyards, and attention to detail was top notch. He is very personable and kind. Highly recommend you take a day trip with him & taste all the wines.

My husband and I did a day wine tasting with Yakov of Isreal Wine Journeys. We had a lovely day touring 3 different wineries while meeting owners, wine makers among many others, which really added to the experience. Yakov asked our wine preference prior and really makes the day something you will enjoy. He also picked us up in Tel Aviv and dropped us off at our new accommodation in Jerusalem with no hesitation. Hope to return to try more Isreal wine soon!

Yakov is clearly well versed in all things wine, and in particular Israeli wine and wineries. He was very informative, shared with us some great wineries, and was in general, fun to be around. He was easy to communicate with over email and WhatsApp. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as your tour guide.

This was a wonderful tour where we really got to visit some boutique and intimate vineyards that had a lot of character and was quite a personal experience. The guide was very knowledage and we had a great time together. Transportation and communication was efficient and effortless. I would very much recommend this tour to anyone looking to visit Israeli vineyards!

We had a wonderful time visiting three wineries. Ya’akov is so knowledgeable and very accommodating to our tastes and interests. It was a great and well worth the cost.

$450 for two of us sounds about right. Yakov adjusts his prices depending on the final itinerary and time. He is very fair. We had a third person join us for part of the tour and he only charged him for that part, not the whole tour.
