I was fortunate to be able to tour this castle, which is really a medieval fortress. The views of Arzignano from here are amazing. There is a nearby church, which is also very pretty. The castle houses the archives for the church. It was an amazing experience for me to visit this place, but I am biased. My ancestors were from here and I was able to view some of there vital records. I am so thankful to those who helped make this happen.

Wow, this is such a lovely place. I had friends come from Nevada who were researching their ancestors, and they came from here. With the help of another researcher, we were able to go into the old Military fortification called the Castello (the castle), and also into the church. Giovanni the custodian was a delight and Anna, my friend and fellow researcher was a font of information. The view is incredible, there is a bar where you can stop and have something to eat and drink, but NOT on Mondays as they are closed. There is a well in the courtyard of the Castello from the late 1300's that is still in working order, absolutely amazing. Don't miss it.

I suggest to visit this wonderful castle which was built during the Middle Ages on the highest hill of Arzignano. It is sourrounded by a little, beautiful garden and it has a dark, attractive colour due to the stones used during the construction. Very nice!
