‪Without a shadow of a doubt one of the most exciting districts of Liverpool is Ropewalks, an area I love to visit.
From Central Railway Station and exiting onto Bold Street you have a great choice of pubs, bars and restaurants and all manner of shopping outlets ,the district encompasses Chinatown and the area around Hanover Street ,its such a fabulous area, with the 3rd national lockdown about to descend my twin brother Stephen and I visited this district, went to some great pubs and visited the Bombed Out Church, this is an unbelievable war memorial thats well worth checking out ,a wonderful district, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area or planning to visit Liverpool. ‬

‪When sailing ships dominated the dock area the Ropewalks area of Liverpool was historically important to Liverpool, the ropes that were essential to all sailing ships of the time were produced here ,nowadays the Ropewalks area is a busy and vibrant district of our city ,if you exit Central Railway Station at Bold Street your in the heart of this district, great pubs, bars and restaurants and an amazing array of shopping outlets ,the architecture here is also awesome both modern and old ,one of my favourite structures here is St Luke's Church known as The Bombed Out Church, a permanent war memorial, you also have FACT , a building showcasing everything in film, video and media, one of Liverpool's most beautiful buildings is located in the Ropewalks District namely The Bluecoat ,a Grade I listed building, over 300 years old ,an absolutely magnificent building.
Chinatown is to be found in this district, its Europe's oldest Chinese community and although not my favourite area to visit its most definitely well worth checking out the Chinese Arch .
The Ropewalks area is most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area or planning to visit Liverpool. ‬

‪The Ropewalks neighbourhood of our beautiful city is a great district to visit but be warned theres lots to see and lots to enjoy.
The Ropewalks area of Liverpool earned its name from the craft of rope making for the sailing ships that dominated the area in the 19th century.
The best area in my opinion to visit in the Ropewalks area are Bold Street ,lots of shopping outlets and innumerable pubs, bars and restaurants leading down to the stunning war memorial The Bombed Out Church ( St Luke's Church ) .
One of Liverpool's most stunning pieces of architecture is located in this area is The Bluecoat ,a fantastic 300 year old Grade I listed building.
Also in the Ropewalks district is Chinatown, this is the oldest Chinese community in Europe ,the stunning Chinese Arch here is most definitely well worth checking out.
If your planning a trip to Liverpool this district is a must go destination and most definitely well worth checking out. ‬
