I went here during Magic Weekend about an hour before the first match started. It was rammed full when we entered and we were a bit nervous about it due to covid. I took a stroll around and noticed a stairway, which I followed to find a lounge that was nearly empty, with a bar with no queue. Bonus!
The bar itself was nice enough, clean and tidy with a decent selection of drinks and friendly staff.

Had the stadium tour. Was hungry afterwards and decided to eat here where they put on a very reasonably priced Sunday lunch. It’s a sports bar so good for love sport plus sky news on. Very friendly staff. Plenty of room and tables. (Obviously was not a match day!). Good choice of drinks.

we had lunch here for first time,,roast beef dinner,tons of meat,and plenty of trimmings too,then cookie dough dessert was to die for .Only hick was sticky toffee pudding order was brought out later than rest of desserts as lady on till made error but all in all was nice lunch for price with tour included .

The food portions are very generous and for 7 pounds in combination with the stadium tour you get a main course with a starter or a dessert. Great atmosphere with live sports and friendly staff.

We were there on a Friday night and it was a good place to start the evening before walking down into the centre of Newcastle.
Fairly quiet and with lots of screens it's a decent place to watch football. The staff were friendly and it's impeccably clean and tidy.
Just a shame it's not still called Shearer's Bar as it originally was & should still be.

Had lunch in here following a guided tour of the stadium next door last weekend. By showing our tour tickets we got 15% off our food order. We ordered Nachos and Filled Potato Skins, along with some Newcastle Brown Ale (couldn’t visit Newcastle without trying it!). The portions were absolutely huge, and one of the dishes would have been enough between the two of us, but we managed to finish off the lot. The bar wasn't very busy, so it was nice and quiet whilst we were there. The food, along with the ale, was very good – absolutely no complaints from us about this establishment!

Was here ore match on Boxing Day. Was a great atmosphere, had a DJ in playing all the right songs and tracks to get you in the mood for the game, just a pity about the result. Service at bar was quick enough and found pricing to be okay, maybe slightly overpriced compared to others close by.

Me and hubby always come here when we get tickets for the Newcastle matches . Brill atmosphere its clean friendly love this pub

Excellent location obviously, and while a little over priced it's exactly what we expected! Lots of screens for sport, lots of bar staff and the food was good too!

This bar is in the St James' Park building and used to be called Shearer's Bar. It has recently been redecorated and is nice and fresh. There is a good choice of bar meals. Like all sports bars, there are plenty of TVs, with this bar allowing a good TV view wherever one chooses to sit . It is particularly nice to think that the bar is right next to the Newcastle United stadium and this seems to add to the atmosphere.
