We had a great time listening to the Django AllStars perform some terrific Jazz Manouche here. They did two shows on a Saturday evening. We went to the earlier show. Good thing we reserved tickets as it was sold out. The doors open 30 minutes before, so get in line early for good seats that are not partial view. They have a full bar, as well as snack plates.

My friend & I wanted to spend an evening in a Parisian jazz club, & Duc des Lombards was recommended to us by My Driver in Paris, Stephane Nancy. The Club is clean, new age, & so intimate that there isn't a bad seat. The service is professional, fast, & friendly without being intrusive. By the way, the show blew us away! If you haven't heard her, I highly recommend you check out the Connie Han Trio! We'll definitely visit Duc des Lombards again on our next trip to Paris.

Forgot who we saw, but nice venue and listened to some funky jazz. Got to meet the drummer from Philadelphia. High prices for drinks but that’s understandable.

Small club with a mostly Parisian audience. There were even a few families there and the kids really got in to the music. Very eclectic neighborhood!

A wonderful reasonably priced music venue. I prefer the later show (9;30) with drinks.

Got drinks/entry tix to Shynia Steele online. Got there 30 minutes early & was 10th in line. Wound up with great seats right by the piano. Waiter brought a couple glasses of wine and some olives and we were on our way! Very intimate cozy venue. Attentive, polite, professional staff. REALLY enjoyed the whole experience and evening. Will definitely go again next Paris trip.

I was having a great night, the band were excellent, the drinks great and the atmosphere was nice. It was all spoiled when the table service waitress came to settle the bill. I was in a good mood and happy to tip for her work but when I put my notes down she decided to put the change directly in her pocket and narxh away from me.
I think they treat tourists differently than locals so just be aware of the pickpocket waitress.
Shame as it spoiled my night.
Enjoy your €8 waitress, you would have got more if you just waited.

Cozy, close to the stage, great service and great sound. We were listening to Chip Wickham, an English flutist and saxophonist and that made a lot a well.
The only remark would be that you cannot make a reservation for a specific table and time. Instead you have to stand in a line outside. But it was a minor remark - still definitely worth it!

Hi, Transformer2015. What would you like to know about this attraction? I will be traveling to Paris next month and am looking for a jazz club to hear good music. Is this place bad? The reviews are mixed.

They have some good musicians playing there and the atmosphere is good but it is hard to get a really good seat as there are lots of blind spots where you can really only see the musicians on a screen. They are also rather disorganized. It can take a long time to get served and an evening there often involves queuing outside for ages before finally being allowed in. I think that there are other better jazz clubs where you can feel that the staff love jazz and are not just in it for the money.
If I made an online reservation, do I need printed tickets? I bought my ticket online but have no way to print it at the moment.

We did not have printed tickets, and ordered the tickets online. You'll just need to give them your name at the door.

Yes you can. I recommend just the ticket. You can eat somewhere else before the show. There are great restaurants around the Duc. The food there is alright, drinks are good but I say go for the Jazz and get a drink if you want.

Don't know the dress code for certain, but we wore smart casual. I doubt they'd throw you out for wearing nice jeans. It wasn't a fancy place.
