Wow! My wife and I had a fabulous time at Marina’s workshop. I should point out that I never wear cologne of any kind, but I left with not only one but two for myself! My wife also decided on two fragrances as well. Marina really helped us identify what we liked and encouraged us to experiment. Mine are light and remind me of sea breezes and walks in the woods with a slight hint of spice. My wife’s are fresh and floral without being overpowering. We both highly recommend doing this! My only regret was not taking pictures!
P.S. - guys, this is different, intimate, and romantic! Don’t pass up this opportunity to show you care.

Loved the workshop, Marina was friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable - both my husband and I lover the perfume we created in the workshop - every time we wear it we remember what a fantastic time we had there - it’s the perfect souvenir! 😄

We Have booked this seminar 3 people and when we arrived to the place the hostess was not there, and the seminar was cancelled and no one have send me a cancellation notice before. I left a lot of messages to ABC but no response...i'm waiting to get refunded, it is rediculous not to get any response. This activity is trustless!

This was a phenomenal experience. The instructor had prepared a 6-seat table for our party of 6. She then gave us a wonderfully clear overview of how fragrances are created, and then unleashed us to make our own. Her supervision and assistance was perfect - not too micromanaging nor too distant - and she gave us a full 2 hours of very interesting and engaging instruction. We've done six excursions in the last few days, and this was everyone's favorite so far, by unanimous opinion! Book this one on your next Paris visit!

French = Perfume. If you want to have a different experience on Paris then sign up to make your own perfume.
Getting to the perfumist's apartment was a conundrum and required climbing the wrong set of stairs. A friendly lady guided us to the adjacent apartment building where the perfumist welcomed us.
The setting is airy and dim. Make sure you bring your eye glasses to see all the written detail and work in the soft light.
Luckily, it was just my friend and I who attended this class, so we had the perfumist's undivided attention. On a lazy Susan, there are 30+ essential oils to create your own or imitated perfume. Either you are lead by your favorite smells or you can get advice what essential oils are used to create a current or an old scent.
Follow your instincts, your nose, and don't be overwhelmed by the choices. Nobody can expect to become a perfumist in 2.5-3 hours.
We created 3 perfumes and the perfumist bottled them up, according to the recipe we created, and added a desired color. We were very happy with the learning experience and the final scents and now have a French experience that not every regular tourist would encounter. You own the original, written-down recipe and you can reorder in the future.
When you are back at home, the perfume bottle and its content brings you back to your experience. And I was able to surprise my son with a perfume that I created for him!

We booked this not knowing what to expect. We arrived and Marina explained everything so clearly.
She allowed us to take our time smelling everything and ask questions.She gave us advice on where to go next.
It was so much fun and the smells we came away with are so nice.

I booked a place online and was given an address to go to. When I got there I was left waiting outside with no indication of which doorbell to press or a number to call. A family of six showed up, who were also booked for the same time, who had been given the combination for the door. Not sure what I was supposed to have done if I had come after them.
As others have said, the “workshop” just consists of a piece of paper separating the scents into three catagories. You are then left to mix them with no guidance. Save your money and get a kit from Amazon for a fraction of the price.
I’m also dubious of the perfumer’s claims. I mixed two perfumes, one more floral and one more carmelly, which the perfumer thought were identical. Everyone else has been able to tell the difference (including myself despite only being able to smell through one side of my nose). I real perfume “nose” would not make this mistake.

To start with, we were 12 in the workshop! That was my very first disappointment as in a tiny room it is too much people and too much noise. I was on a table with 3 more people and we were sharing the same trolley of scents which made it difficult to find what you are looking for and combine it with other notes because someone else would immediately take it away from you. We were given a trolley of 30 or so notes and asked to chose what we want and make our owns! I was expecting some explanation about notes and combinations and preservation but unfortunately didn't get anything and when I asked the answer was " I don't want to guide you to a certain direction!" I didn't receive much guidance regarding the amount of notes I wanted to combine so I just added everything randomly to make my perfume. Overall you can by the notes from amazon and use google for information cause you won't receive anything "wooow" from this workshop but it can be a fun activity if you are just looking for an activity and not expertise.

What a wonderful afternoon
I'd wanted to tick this off the bucket list for a long time.
What better place than Paris to tick it off
We spent the 3 hours with Marina
In lovely surroundings
Marina is very knowledgeable and so helpful
A friend and I went and 2 other couples where in the class
It was great to see that it was for men and women
You make 3 scents and then choose your favorite and then Marina makes it up for you
You can buy the other fragrances you make at a great price
You take away your list of ingredients ford your perfume so you can reorder
The class is 2 1/2 to 3 hours long
So much fun and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon

Based on Trip Advisor reviews, I booked this bespoke perfume experience for my wife (her birthday). My wife was delighted at the thought and loved the session with Marina in her elegant 16th arrondissement apartment.
Would recommend this without reservation to the first-time visitor to Paris and the seasoned traveller. Marina is a knowledgeable and sophisticated veteran of the perfume industry, yet she's friendly and accessible to those new to the arena.
Husbands, if you book this for your wife, feel free to cross the street, buy a Cuban cigar at the tabac, and enjoy it with a coffee at the cafe next door. Or enjoy creating your own cologne as well. Heed my advice. Experience this when in Paris.
