There is a lovely variety of plants, some of which I recognised and others which I suspect need France's warmer climate to thrive and so wouldn't do so well in England. I also liked the classical statuary dotted around the park; and the enclosure with small animals, including rabbits, is bound to appeal to children of all ages. A very nice place in which to while away an hour or so and relax, with no pressure to move on.

Varied, well attended grounds. Little animals. Many places to sit and relax. Good place to unwind, close to conf center

A small garden.
Quite disappointing, specially after we have been visiting previously the Jardin des Plantes in Nantes, which is much bigger and with more to do.
I remembered there was supposed to be a merry go round but we didnt find any.
There are some cute farm animals. Public is not supposed to feed them but they still unfortunately do.

I visited on a Sunday morning and felt myself relax immediately walking around the green slopes and sitting on a bench looking at the families, students, and people of all ages enjoying the peace.

I have been to this garden and completely love all the trees and flowers there. It's wonderful how they are keeping everything in very good conditions.

A small park with equally small lake and fountains, but a thousand miles away from the bustle of the city. And an outdoor honour based library to boot. A tranquil setting for the weary traveller.

I have to admit I was expecting the park to be bigger than it was so I was slightly disappointed. However it’s well maintained with a lovely selection of flowering plants and quiet places to sit away from the hustle and bustle of Angers

This is a romantic little park in the middle of the city that is well maintained, with winding paths, beautiful flowers, and a large pond (or mini lake) complete with swans. If you have small children, there also is a nice playground and a small pen with goats and chickens.

This place is amazing, it's well entertained and peaceful and they have a great variety of plants... you can hardly believe that you're in the middle of the city!
TIP: in the summer there is a little coffee shop where you can eat a really good ice cream
