We stumbled upon this bar and restaurant on our first day in Berlin and just stopped for a drink. Its in a beautiful art nouveau courtyard and building complex. The food looked interesting and we vowed to return. We did so on our last night in Berlin and are we pleased we did. The food was spot on. I started with a cold cucumber and avocado soup that was truly refreshing and followed with Iberico pork - it was lovely. my wives choices were equally nice. The atmosphere is great the service excellent and the wine list good with interesting Cocktails. I thoroughly recommend

Found in an adorable court yard this restaurant offers an extensive menu, great food and really good service. The bathrooms are lovely and impressively clean. Enjoy!!!

The restaurant is situated close to the hackescher Markt in Berlin in a beautiful courtyart. The restaurant is very nice.
The food is heavenly, especially the amuse, appetizer which was Tuna sashimi. With the wasabi peanuts it was so tasty! Our maincourse was beautiful ribeye with asperges. The dessert could be better. It was creme brulee, with a brownie and icecream.
Our waitress was very friendly. The service was excellent.

Fantastic location in the courtyard of a gorgeous art nouveau building near the a cinema and theatre. Loved the range of selection on the menu which allowed us to chose vegan and vegetarian amongst lots of meat. Truly tasty and filling meals with attention to detail. Loved it.

It was time for a late afternoon coffee and a beer, so we ventured into the cortyards at Hackesecher Hof and stumbled onto Oxymoron. Lively, with great service and good drinks I'd happily go back.

We were first attracted to this place because of the lovely setting - it sits in an attractive square and has a spacious outdoor seating area. We initially sat down to have a few drinks, but after spotting the dishes being served to other people we decided to also stay for food, and lucky we did! The menu was full of interesting dishes (including peach risotto, which a friend of mine ordered), and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The waiting staff were all very friendly and helpful, and patient with our English/awful attempts at German. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice dinner out in Berlin who maybe fancies trying some more unusual dishes.

Searching the streets after a day of museums and sight seeing we found this gem tucked away in a side street.
The street menu looked delicious so we stopped in. Mohammed was our server and he was fantastic. We had the soup and tenderloin. Soup was incredible with this Williams Pear delisciousness and the steak was done perfectly with beetroot sides.
Service top bar and awesome location. Room packed up fast so definitely make a reservation!

We stopped here for lunch on an impulse whilst visiting the Hackescher Höfe. It is located in Hof 1. The interior is comfortable and stylish and very welcoming. Service friendly and efficient. Interesting menu, including German specialities (e.g. Kalbsleber, which my partner enjoyed) and pasta (I had Tagliatele Bärlauch, which was very good). Also a warming carrot and orange soup to start, and good house white to drink.
