I used to love this place, but this year the atmosphere is not the same.
I'm hopping that the reason is i'm visiting the island earlier this year, but couldn't help feel a bit disapointed...

I have been to Ibiza twice now and stayed around the same area, Carrer de Cala de Bou. The area is ideal because it is on the quieter side of San Antonio Bay but has its' own night life and everything you need. You also have the option of getting the bus or walking into the main part of San Anotonio which is about a half an hour walk.
Both times we have been to Ibiza, we have not bothered going into the main part of San Anotonio for nightly drinks because we prefer to stay around the local area as there is a local 'strip' (a street of bars and restaurants) of which Bucanero is one of them. We have been both times we have been to Ibiza and we love it.
Although the frontage looks like something out of a theme park, you can't help to spot the bar from a distance and get pulled in by the laughter you hear as people enjoy themselves. The drinks are relatively cheap, the service is also swift and excellent and it is a brilliant place to sit outside and watch the World go by. Alternatively, it is a good place to sit and people watch on the night time as you take in the music and sup on your cocktail.
Bucanero for me is a 'proper' holiday bar with a warm atmosphere, good music and positive service. It is definitely worth a visit during the day or night - but I am not the only one who thinks that which is why it is so popular.

Bucaneros is a fantastic bar, we always seem to head back here every year. Great bar staff and a very friendly atmosphere. Added bonus of being able to order a Bacon Butty at the end of the night to soak up the booze.

Stayed in the Rosamar which is only a 5/10 minute walk from Bucaneros, an amazing place to get very cheap, very large and very tasty cocktails! Spent a lot of time here as we loved the cocktails and the value for money was great. In addition, They play great music and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.
Very fun and would recommend to anyone staying in the bay side of ibiza for a great laugh with friends. They also have a pool table and outside food bar, which we took great advantage of when there!

Been here a few times over the years from when Candice ran the place up until Hannah took over and it's not changed. Cheap beer, great music, great sports on the large screens and plenty of free shots. Will definately call back again..........

Went here on the closing party night. Had an absolute blast in here. Great bar staff and very friendly people in here. The DJ played tunes that kept everyone dancing till the small hours. saw a few of the customers the next day (afternoon) and they all said it was one of the best nights they had.
Will definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

We found this place whilst walking back to our hotel. We hadn't eaten and they accommodated us no problem. We enjoyed some food from the burger bar, very convenient that it serves food late into the night!

Hannah and her team have got a great thing going here, they make a point of getting to know you and really making a fuss of you, assuring that you return time and again..
The odd shot is thrown in your direction occasionally too!!
Always the emphasis is on making sure you have a good time whatever age you are!
There's even a little Burger bar 'built in' so ideal if you get the munchies, you don't even need to leave the building..... RESULT!!!!
We stumbled across this bar largely by accident (that said it was recommended by another bar owner which says volumes about the place really) and so glad we did, as a good proportion of our weeks evening entertainment at the very least started from here!!!
We had a lot of great times here, if you are in San Antonio Bay, pay it a visit, you won't be disappointed!!

Sat here with friends drinking a 2 litre cocktail for 15 euros. It's 3.14, beautiful calm atmosphere, tad chilly but we can't blame the venue!
Lots of neon bright light and no sign of closing.
