An excellent place to have a drink before evening dining. Friendly staff made our working experience very pleasant in Santander. Not speaking Spanish made for a comical experience as both the staff and our Canadian group tried to communicate in the other's language. Gin, Rum and cold beer with snacks, muy buen!

this bar does not look like much from the outside, but we had a glimpse at the huge selection of gins they have, and decided to give it a try.
The waiter spent a lot of time with us giving us advice about different gins, how to prepare them and had an encyclopedic knowledge about gin. He prepared them perfectly, and we had a great experience there, although it would say it's more of a quiet style of bar.

I fail to understand previous reviews of Kings which praise "the drinks, the friendly staff and the good free snacks".
The prices for almost tasteless cocktails are somewhat high compared to the many other bars in the area. The mai tai I had was probably the least tasty I have ever had....little rum but plenty of orange/pineapple juice. My friend's pina colada equally poor. The waitress who served us was charmless and surly (it is of course possible that other waiters / waitresses were more welcoming). We certainly were not provided with good free snacks as mentioned in a previous review. We did have a few nuts and jelly sweets.
We were in Santander for 5 days and used many bars all of which served better quality drinks at more reasonable cost with friendly helpful service. Very disappointing experience at Kings.

This is a relaxed little bar not far from the centre of Santander. Nicely lit, they play good music (modern and classic pop, mainly) and the two TVs show mainly sports channels with the sound turned down. Good staff with a ready smile, and the free snacks are great if you haven't eaten!

Went a couple of times to Kings Pub with my wife and a few friends. It is a nice, classy place where one can drop in for a drink after midnight in a quiet atmosphere. Their gin tonics are just great with a touch of orange added. I found their prices reasonable. This place is very popular with people in their 50s and beyond. Very recommendable.

Fine bar - only sells premium branded drinks and though not as cheap as lesser establishments, still serves you large measures but in a sophisticated way. Great service and even the nibles are classy. Best bar in Santander (to me and my wife anyway)................NOT for a young crowd who would revel in Magaluf/Malia etc.

We found this pub by chance on a walk in Santander.We sat outside because the weather was hot.The staff were very friendly too especially with our basic Spanish.There was a bbq outside too which looked nice though we did not have anything to eat there.There was a good choice of beers though we drank local beer.I would definitely recommend a visit to this pub.

First of all, it took them a long time to come serve us, then we ordered 2 frozen daikiri, one with mango and the other with pineapple and both were terrible, especially the pineapple one. The nice waitress

Traditional place and street to have a drink in Santander, the unfortunate service, in this case the owner. A group of friends ordered some drinks, and one of them didn't taste good. It is said in good manners, we are educated and older people, and they make a number of us as if we had stolen the cash register or killed an employee, unfortunate. There are people who should not be in front of the public for their own good if they are not worth it, in short a place and very delicious drinks but of course I am not going to return, bad manners are not my thing.
