‪The best marzipan ever!‬
זוגות • אוק׳ 2019
‪You do not go here for sightseeing, you come here for marzipan and other sweets and they are simply delicious! No factory production, all hand-made by the nuns, the best possible relation price-quality. I already regret not buying more ;)‬

‪The marzipan is good here‬
זוגות • אוג׳ 2017
‪This is a closed convent so don't expect to be allowed in apart from being able to walk upstairs to the tiny shop. You ring the bell and after a while a nun dressed in white will open a hatch and sell you marzipan which is good quality if not the best in my opinion. An interesting marzipan buying experience if nothing else.‬

‪Nothing special... just bought Mazipan here to help...‬
זוגות • אוג׳ 2016
‪This is quite far from the hustle and bustle of Toledo. We didn't do the tour but we bought our Mazipan here and a couple of box of Yema. We did it to help the nuns raise funds. Other than that this place looks normal.‬

‪Don't waste your time if you're looking for the marzipan tour‬
זוגות • אוק׳ 2015
‪We were referred to the Monastery of San Clemente by Fodor's Spain 2015 guidebook. It mentioned this as a favorite place to buy marzipan and also tour the kitchen to learn how it's made by the nuns. We were hoping this would be a quaint tour to contrast the all of touristy souvenir shops and tourist buses that are found within Toledo
We arrived around the afternoon opening time listed in the book and noted on the door; no one was there. Once the nun opened the shop, we inquired about the tour an were told it's at 5pm, which was 25 minutes later. We left the shop and hung out in the plaza for the 25 minutes. When we returned, we were not immediately acknowledged by the nun and were browsing the small store. There were no other customers in the store at the time. In the next few minutes, the nun rudely told us there there will be no visits today and waved us out of the store.
Don't waste your time if you want to see how the marzipan is made. After being turned away, we decided to buy marzipan at San Tomas shop in the main plaza.‬
