This is a very pleasant place to take a stroll and connects with other walkways along the riverside. The only disappointing aspect was the amount of mindless graffiti that seemed to be everywhere - even on the stones of the lovely old stone bridge.

I pretty much had this long, narrow park to myself on a largely overcast day. Very peaceful. Nice trees, some landscaping, but not much this time of the year. A few birds, and some sculpture/fountains.

As a travelling family, a good playground is always an important find, and the playground in Parque de la Isla is definitely a good one. The kids had a great time playing while I relaxed in the park. The kids also enjoyed walking around the park and looking at the birds, plants and fountain/waterfall. Recommended for people with small kids.

Walk along the river, taking one path down and another back, stopping to admire the artifacts from other historical eras and locations which have been salvaged and planted here among diverse and labeled trees and plants! This combination botanical garden and exercise was a highlight of our trip. Do not miss!

A lovely park filled with green space, shaded walkways, ancient sculpture and architecture, kid's playgrounds, and just a lovely place to unwind or people watch. Instead of walking through the bustle of Burgos, use this for a work around, very calming and tranquil.

This is part of a continuous park by the river. This section is further away from the City Center.

Stayed at hotel along the river from Burgos centre (Hotel Campus Tavern) and in the evening took the riverside path through the Parque de Isla to historic Burgos centre. Beautiful paseo with fountains and artifacts enroute.

If you've had your fill of old buildings and churches, take a nice walk through the park to refresh yourself. If you walk along the river, you are far away from traffic and can hear the sound of the rushing water. Lovely that Burgos set aside this much land for an urban park...
