Oh...my worst ever...male staff bullying female staff member til I intervened...food was starchy 1970s crap...never going g to sorrentos balla again

Nello and Ruth arranged our day trip to Capri with Mena who was amazing. I would trust Nello and Ruth to assist in organizing all of your needs while in Italy. They are so knowledgeable and trustworthy. They truly care that you have the best experience possible. Just reach out and they can advise what is best for you based on your needs and desires!!!!!

We were introduced to Nello & Ruth through a mutual friend. We are so very grateful! We spent 2 weeks traveling all over Italy. Nello & Ruth arranged our travels in the southern region of Italy, which included the Almalfi Coast, Capri, & Sorrento, as well as our private transfers from the Rome Airport and Naples train station. I can't express enough how Nello & Ruth took care of us each and every day. They listened to our requests and every detail was "spot on"!!! They made us feel like we were family and went beyond our expectations. We would love to return one day and we would definitely use "Balla In Style" again.

I can't say enough good things about Nello and Ruth taking care of us in Italy. His day tour from Sorrento to Capri Island is FANTASTIC! He sang "Georgia" to us throughout the day, which is our home state. We were there during peak season and he has all the connections to bypass the crowds and get you where and when you need to be. Nello also set us up with a great private driver as well as a wonderful private guide for a tour of Pompeii, which was amazing. Then, Nello and Ruth were our SAVIORS when our travel agent made a huge blunder by sending us to the wrong hotel. After his driver dropped us off and we realized we were 45 minutes away from the hotel where we were supposed to be, Nello was able to arrange having his driver return and take us where we needed as well as arrange a last minute early the next morning trip for us to the airport. Instead of panicking, we were comforted by speaking to Ruth and Nello who both handled the situation calmly and immediately. I can't recommend them enough!

We had a wonderful 10 days in Rome and Sorrento in very large part due to Nello
and Ruth's attention to all the details. From the guides ( loved Carla!) and tours ( Amalfi coast private boat, Pompeii , food tour, Capri tour and cooking class) we had a most memorable experience. Amalfi private boat tour , Villa St Michele ( Anacapri) and Villa Ida ( St.Agnelo) cooking class were unforgettable- don't miss them!!! Thank you Nello and Ruth!

Nello and Ruth were fantastic! From dinner reservations, to private transfers and boat trips, they certainly took great care of us. Not once did we have to worry about a thing. Thanks to them, our vacation was easy, relaxing, and an unforgettable experience. They truly treated us like family and we would be honored to work with them again!

Nello and Guiseppe collected us from outside our hotel and Guiseppe did an amazing job of circumnavigating the roads of Sorrento en route to Pompeii. Nello was entertaining and very knowledgeable, which kept my children (and us) very entertained.
He made Pompeii almost come to live with all the stories he told and made sure he included the less able members of our party too. A wonderful trip, made even better by the best tour guide!

We arranged for Bello and Ruth to take care of all our traveling needs while in southern Italy. From picking up at the airport in Rome to providing guides on the Amalfi coast to getting us back too Rome. They arranged for drivers, guides, and admissions. Everyone that we dealt with was knowledgeable, super friendly, and on time for all of the activities. I highly recommend using them for their services. No regrets at all.

Nello and Ruth were absolutely wonderful in helping me with our 30th anniversary trip with our adult children. Nello arranged for a private transfer for 5 of us, door to door, from our hotel in Rome to our hotel in Sorrento and met us upon arrival to introduce himself. Once there, he arranged a boat trip for us along the Amalfi coast. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate but Nello saved the day. He was able to change our ferry tickets on the next day so that we could leave later AND he rebooked us with another boat so we could spend our last day in Sorrento in style - 8 hours on a 38' boat with a captain and hostess who provided Prosecco, beer, water, limoncello, snacks and fresh fruit from their own gardens. Upon docking, Nello met us again with our changed ferry tickets and our luggage and we hopped off one boat and right onto the ferry to take us to Naples. He seems to be friends with everyone in town and he'll be your friend before you leave. I highly recommend Nello and Balla in Style!

We had an enchanting day organized by Nello and Ruth. It was fantastic. A driver picked up our group of 10 at our hotel in Sorrento, took my in-laws to the home towns of their parents and then had a great tour of Pompei.
Nello was our guide and was absolutely terrific. He was a great story teller, and helped pace a perfect tour of the site. He even made sure we had a nice air conditioned room to have lunch in when our very hot day was over.
I would use them again -- for an excursion around Sorrento or a trip anywhere in Italy. They were professional, responsive, patient with a big group with a number needs and very flexible. Absolutely first rate!
