‪Well run, clearly marked, there are paths in every direction that lead you to cool new discoveries: the mausoleum (amazing), old ww2 artillery placements and barracks, churches, vistas of the ocean and Gaeta. We enjoyed it immensely, gorgeous views everywhere and not many people around. Absolute must if you are in Gaeta.‬

‪Pleasant change from lying on beach‬

‪Walked round the park one afternoon as weather was little dull for beach activities. The "park wardens" were very helpful, especially the gentleman who had visited Glasgow many times as a seaman. If one is a cat lover there are an abundance of cats around the park that all looked well fed. The walk starting at the Serapo Beach is a pleasant way of reaching the old town of Gaeta.‬

‪It is in Gianola, not Gaeta!‬

‪Hard to get to! Took B line bus from Formia, getting off at Gianola. From here a long walk, 15 minutes or so. Badly signposted, but we found the Porticciolo Romano, Grotta della Janara, and 36 pillars. Very nice, there were other ruins but access was not given, due to works being done. Please note, you need to get back on the same bus, same direction, as it does a loop and comes back a different way!!! We figured this out after waiting over an hour!‬
