Would definately recommed to rent a Segway here. They offer tours, as well as single rental. We rented two Segways in the afternoon and it was so much fun! It was quite hot outside, but it made it so easy to move around town. You can still see all the highlights and take pictures wherever you want. We would definately do this again!

We rented segways for 2 hours to tour the more distant sites in the city.
This has been definitely one of the best activities in our trip, we had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the experience.
At the end we got our picture hung on the wall, and we even got one more picture to take with us 😉.
It is not expensive and really will add a lot to your holiday.
Highly recommended!

Travelling Italy with a 7 and 10 year old...Lots of walking and museum visits...Wanted to treat them to something special.
Happened upon the Segway shop and decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed... the staff were sure to give our eldest a full hands on tutorial in store. My daughter, who would be riding with me, was also allowed to slowly ride the Segway in the store to get comfortable.
I was super impressed with the service and overall attitude provided by the shop. The attention to detail made my family feel safe and comfortable once we got on the busy roads.
Would recommend to anyone wanting to try a Segway for the first time, and also to those with younger kids. My typically timid 7 year old was super comfortable riding up front and really enjoyed the sights.

We had thought about doing this tour. When we decided to do it we didn't give them much notice. They actually called a tour guide in for us and he showed up in 15 minutes. While we waited fir him they gave our friend instructions how to do the Segway. Our guide was excellent. A wealth of knowledge about the history of Firenze and a local artist himself. I would recommend this tour to anyone. It's would be fun for families too ! Friendly helpful staff and very accommodating too. Call ahead to make an appointment if you can . We would definitely do this again. We did the 2 hour tour. It was perfect. They are super easy to ride .

After museums, churches and views..... it was time to do something more interactive. We considered a few of the Segway companies, most were quite pricey and involved a tour - my kids had had enough of things being pointed out and learning about the history, they just wanted to have fun.
This company hires out the Segways with the option of just taking them for an hour or two (an hour was more than enough for me, my toes got frozen!) the kids had a blast weaving in and out of the crowds around Piazza Duomo, and the streets around it. I was much slower and more cautious, they were zooming around very easily.
Segways are easy to use, but for me, I was hesitant.... we have done it before, my advice, take your time learning, and listening to the staff before you set off.
And if you go in the winter, wrap up well, as you are only standing on the segway, not really moving, it is chilly
BUT we really enjoyed the hour we had, kids more so.... we may even go again today!

The tour we took was not a Segway tour, but they were the supplier. Ours was a walking tour of the Palazzo Vecchio Underground, Museum and Tower. The tour guide was awesome and explained everything very well. You do go through security and they do not allow backpacks. Be prepared for walking and stairs. There are ~283 steps up the tower.

Well, what a great experience! Florence is a small city but you can spend all day on your feet taking in the beautiful sights. We were absolutely knackered by our last day and flippin hot (August and 34°C). So we booked a lazy Segway. We wanted a Segway for a self-guided tour because we wanted the freedom to go where we wanted. And we thought €19 per person for 1 hour (€29 for 2 hours) was a bargain, particularly given the good reviews on TripAdvisor. We didn't book in advance - just turned up unannounced, quickly filled in a form and after a demonstration in store, off we went. Our feet had a bit of a rest and we had a nice breeze as we Segwayed (I just verbed it) through the city, down streets I bet not many tourists had the pleasure of seeing. It was easy to navigate, even through the busy crowds and we blended into the cycle-friendly city very easily. Only regret is we left it until the last day! Thoroughly recommend!

I took my entire family (youngest 11) on a 2 hour self guided Segway tour. It was a great way to see so many sights in such a short time. Segway Firenze provides great Segways that are in great condition and can suggest multiple routes based upon the rental duration. Their self guided tours are priced so affordable. Thier guided tours are much more expensive, but their map made it so easy to see all the sites.
I can really say this is a must do when your in Florence. Whether you know how to ride a Segway or not, try it. They are very easy to use. You won't be disappointed. It was such an amazing experience, we chose to do another 1 hour rental, the same day, to see some additional remote sights and that rental was equally amazing.

This was our first time riding Segways, and they are fun and easy to maneuver! Our guide, Michael, was fun, professional, knowledgeable, and interesting. Our tour lasted about three hours and was packed with lots of interesting sites, stories, views, art, and history! We had a wonderful time, and highly recommend the Segway tour!

a FANTASTIC and fun way to see the highlights of this marvelous city. The machines are a breeze to learn to operate, and great fun to ride. By all means, PLEASE take this tour.

Do the Segway tour from Segway Firenze, in two hours you see the main which would have taken you like 6 hours. It’s so easy and fun...Good luck. I’ve just returned from Florence-Venice today to New York
