‪This is an artificial forest which lies just above the city of Komotini. You can go hiking or just relaxing in the benches that exist all over the forest, it is silent and relaxing just to be there. I go there often to have my oxygen boost shot and forget the anxiety of everyday living in the city.‬

‪Relaxing, relieving and refreshing‬

‪It is more likely a forrest than a grove located in the foot of rodop mountains.

A very good place for relaxing, relieving, refreshing and of course exercising. But if you are a beginner at running it might be a little challenging, because it has a significant inclination. ‬

‪A great place for relaxation and exercise.‬

‪The Nymphaea forest is the local name for the Recreation Grove of Komotini. Its pine trees provide a wonderful backdrop for walking running and cycling as well as picnics. It's just a shame that most of the infrastructure that was created in the late 1980s is now in disrepair. ‬
