‪Performace and localities topclass‬
ספט׳ 2019
‪Visited Opera Puccini with friends in september attending opera with repertoir from Puccini booked throug Maria Guilano
The program and the soloists was first class, and the "Sala regina" is Perfect for an opera. The plastic Chairs could be changed to mor classy and convinient Chairs, my back had a taste of plastic after a coupke of hours. But it was no matter because of the high class performance. Higly recommendable‬

‪Very elegant spa‬

‪The Terme Tettucio is the largest spa in Montecatini Terme, and has the best and most attractive buildings - really beautiful Art Nouveau. Its fine colonnades and marble must be a delightful place for people to take the waters, as they do every morning! They even have an orchestra playing under the frescoed dome!
We were lucky to be shown all around by Massimo, who was a delightful and informative host with excellent English.
The buildings are set in a beautiful and well-maintained park, an easy short walk from the town centre.‬

‪Of all the attractions we visited in Tuscany this was the hardest to work out. Couldn’t find information about when it was open or what there was to see or do when you got there.
We paid the basic entrance fee of 6 euro to walk around the park and buildings. It had an attractive and pleasant setting; the buildings at the centre are stunning, but those on the periphery are tired and neglected.
A free concert was advertised at 4pm - goody we thought! The lady selling tickets said the concert started at 6. But people were taking their seats so we thought we’d give it a go anyway and found ourselves in the middle of a fashion show whilst dressed in hiking gear. Whoops!
There were some disposable plastic glasses near the entrance and I asked if I could have one as there was running water - only to be told (in a very surly manner) NO!!. We later figured out that the higher rate of 15€ was for the privilege of filling the glass with water. No one bothered to explain this or offer me the chance to buy a plastic glass for 9€
Given all the other wonderful things to do and see in Montecatini (Terme and Alto) I would not consider this attraction worthy of addition to an itinerary.‬

‪Why?‬
משפחה • אוג׳ 2019
‪Maybe I’m missing something but I would have given this 0 stars if able. The buildings are pretty but these can be admired from outside the gates and for free.
The treatment rooms look like they were last updated in 1960s by architects of the Former Soviet State. The gardens are only like walking through a local park. Maybe this was something amazing 40 years ago but it hasn’t been touched since.

Oh, and the photos prove that the camera does lie!‬

‪A fascinating, historical and most impressive building‬
זוגות • מאי 2019
‪A most interesting building which we had totally to ourselves when visiting one afternoon. The Hall Of Water Springs was added in 1927 and comprised of a series of named ‘drinking basins’, each with stunning hand-decorated ceramic tiles reproducing the four ages of life (Adolescence, Childhood, Maturity and Old Age) with others depicting Source, Strength and Beauty. Despite literally having the entire complex to ourselves we were very enthusiastically welcomed into The Music Pavilion to enjoy coffee and biscuits to the recorded sound of Louis Armstrong!‬

‪Waste of money‬

‪We parked outside and went to reception where we thought we were booking a spa treatment, we paid our money there and were then told it wasn’t open until later in the afternoon. So we went for a very long walk and came back hours later to be told we’d actually only paid to drink the water. A very expensive glass of water. Only one of many taps was working and the water was worse than sea water to drink. Then 5 months later we got a bill for €100 posted to us at home in UK with a threat of more than doubling the fine if we didn’t pay, apparently for crossing a pedestrian zone on the way out of the car park. I won’t be going back!‬

‪Impressive art deco styled architecture. The waters taste disgusting but loved visiting the building especially between 4-6 when there is band playing old time music with folks dancing. Well worth the 6 euros to get in and see the architecture.‬

‪Terme Terrtucio is fabulous ! It's 6 euro entry to view the building and grounds . It's well worth it .a wonderful morning spent wandering around.
In addition , I would highly recommend the opera evening ( you must prebook,) it's held in side building and we had interval drinks in the Terme. Drinks included in the entry fee. A wonderful
evening highly recommend it !‬

‪Impressive architecture but spa activity aspect rather disappointing‬
זוגות • ספט׳ 2018
‪Impressive building, architecture and sculptures. The spa was beautiful to look at, but the waters not that impressive... in fact not sure what I expected really apart from perhaps an actual spa to swim in... this wasn’t like that. You could drink/taste the waters... incidentally tastes horrible!! However, in the evenings many events were held here, such as orchestras, operas and fashion shows. Beware of the start times, as these are very flexible. The fashion show I attended was supposed to start at 2100 hrs, it actually started at 2230 hrs. Do still visit though, it is beautiful, just watch out for the time of day you go, as at certain times in the afternoon, they don’t allow tasting of the waters... it’s not included in the entrance fee.‬

‪The woman at the counter yelled “Go away” when we wanted to buy the15€ day ticket without doctor’s appointment worth 60€‬
משפחה • ספט׳ 2018
‪I should start by saying that this used to be our favorite place and we came back here every year for the past 5 years. So, all the nice reviews on this page used to be true. Until this year Terme Tetuccio employed a shockingly rude Russian-speaking woman, who was at the counter on September 25, 2018. We came to buy one day ticket for 15€ each because we had a travel plans for the next day. She sold us the tickets once, but next time demanded that we bought doctors appointment for 60€ because we’ve already been here for one day, so she wouldn’t sell us another daily ticket. Wait what? When you come for a day will you have to pay 75€ per person? I’ve been there, it’s nice, but it isn’t worth 75€ for one day entry for sure!

My mother politely explained that she’s been here before and had an appointment with the doctor and has all the recommendations in hand. The woman yelled at her demanding her last name as if accusing of lying. She found my mother’s record indeed and still refused to sell us one day tickets and told us to go away. “GO AWAY to a different Terme if you don’t like our rules” - she said. Literally.

We were shocked. Stressed. Disappointed. We still came back the next day to try to buy the tickets and the woman told us to go away as soon as she saw us! Maybe it’s a cultural thing (uncultured, in fact) from her side, but we clearly don’t deserve such an insulting treatment! My mom was so stressed she wouldn’t agree to come back and is now spending her vacation traveling around instead of enhancing her health.

Dear Tetuccio Terme management, I hope that you will be able to find a polite and professional person to replace that woman and will bring Terme Tetuccio back to the nice wellness place it used to be for years. It would be great if you could do it before your ratings go low - I’m sure we are not only the only customers that woman is insulting, even if we are the first ones to speak up.

Businesses tend to think it is the competitor who harms their business most, while it is often a rude person at the counter with a little bit of power who sends your clients away ruining your reputation and bringing long-term losses. Really, each of us was going to pay you 15€ everyday, but payed 0€ because of the woman who literally sent us away! Will we come back? Depends on your reaction on this problem and on your ability to value your customers and don’t trick them into unnecessary hidden payments when your website clearly advertises a possibility of buying a one day ticket.‬
