A sweet, relaxing and friendly square. Nice shops for meat, bread, ice cream and coffee. Also nice restaurants. Concerts at the square is lovely.

Very good ice cream to be bought and the butcher where I always buy my pecorino staggionato cheese. A place to relax.

This architectural example has only a few other similes in Italy, which are Palmanova, Sabbioneta and Castrocaro Citta del Sole. What strikes you firstly is you drive through a gate and arrive in a large symmetrical square piazza with shops, bars, the town hall and churches facing inwards, so it feels very organised and in harmony. Behind the shops etc. there is residential townhouses built in bricks. There is some free parking in the square.
We must mention the Gelateria Mecozzi, where lots of home made ice-cream is available, great coffee - sitting inside or outside, all at a reasonable price.
