‪We came in off season but was stunning. Hardly any people around only 2 other couples at the beach.
Beautiful breeze to keep the temperature down. Great swimming ‬

‪Sunset Picnic ‬
ספט׳ 2020
‪A Stunning array of colours as deep red dirt from the Pindan Cliffs falls onto white sand and then tumbles into the endless aquas of the ocean.
Peaceful, unique, spectacular. Definitely worth the drive out to Kooljaman to have a swim and watch the world turn away from the sun :) ‬

‪Love the red dirt‬

‪Nice to look at from the restaurant. Friendly staff. It was the chef’s day off so food was mainly hamburgers which were ok. Shop at reception was expensive. We couldn’t go to the beach as we would have had to pay entry fee. ‬

‪Beach amazing‬
אוג׳ 2020
‪Forget about the friendly welcome here unless you speak with a young person. Older female has cranky pants on each day and older man never cracks a smile. Perhaps they need a holiday.
The brochure states frozen bread available but when hubby asked for a loaf the cranky female informed him “no we don’t and who told you that ?” He informed her it is in your brochure.
They don’t have anything at all in the way of basic supplies so make sure you stock up. Unbelievable really when you think they still serve breakfast and lunch so are obviously getting deliveries of food stores.
The ablutions in the camp ground are disgraceful and desperately need upgrading or demolishing. There are fairly new ablutions on the far side of the camp if you want to queue for ages or go later in the night.
On a brighter note the back beach is the highlight of Kooljaman and enjoyable for all ages. Our morning coffee made and served each morning by the gorgeous friendly barista was delicious and enjoyed by all.

‪Off the grid delight‬
אוג׳ 2020
‪We stayed for 3 nights at Kooljaman on the tip of the Cape in August - off the grid; no phone; no internet - just relaxation.
A great spot with plenty of exploring, a great swimming beach, and some fantastic snorkeling wth plentiful coral and tropical fish.
Our accommodation included a BBQ so it was easy to cook dinners.
Plenty of red Kimberley sand!
The Communities were not open due to Covid-19, but we did take the short drive to Cygnet Bay for dinner one night.
Thoroughly recommended.‬

‪Tag Along Tour‬
אוג׳ 2020
‪We joined this tour early in the morning and returned late in the afternoon after an exciting and entertaining day out. Brian Lee is an interesting and knowledgeable indigenous leader of the local community who lead us on country to experience the beauty of the Cape Leveque area. We stopped to search for signs of small animals and learn about the special areas of land used for meeting and eating thousands of years ago, drove along the beach, swam in the ocean, learnt more about the local history and customs and ended up hunting for mud crabs in the nearby mangroves. Brian was eager to help those fishing and provided the hooked poles and spears for us to try our luck. He built a fire and cooked the crabs while entertaining us more with interesting and funny stories. We ate them, they were delicious, before returning onto the beach for a sunset drive back to Kooljaman. We had a wonderful time and recommend this tour to all people with a 4wd who are interested in getting a better idea of the beauty and culture of this precious land on the Dampier Peninsula. It is pristine and treated with respect it will stay that way for others to appreciate forever. ‬

‪Amazing beach and rock formation. stop off on the way to Cygnet Bay. Where the Pindan meets the sea. Kooljaman is a great spot. Restraint does great coffee with spectacular views. Beach access with 4WD but easy walk too. ‬

‪Absolutely stunning region. 🌞💕‬
אוק׳ 2019
‪The 3 hr drive up from Broome to Cape Leveque was an adventure in itself with its bumpy red dusty sandy road. However, the road is supposed to be sealed soon.

For a fabulous swim head to Kooljaman Resort to Eastern Beach as it’s stunning and safe for swimming. There is a $10 entrance fee into the resort paid at the shop.

Their restaurant is also good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. BYO is allowed but none available to buy due to the resort being 100% Indigenous owned.

Also, don't forget to book the Waterfall Reef tour from Cygnet Pearl Farm which is located 10minutes away. It's a fabulous fun tour visiting the ocean tidal phenomenon the Waterfall Reef and the giant whirlpools created by the outgoing tides.

The tour takes 2 hours through the gorgeous crystal clear waters with fabulous views of the Buccaneer Archipelago islands. It's definitely a must-do on your list if visiting this region.

Cygnet Farm also has a licensed restaurant which is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

One Arm Point Ardyaloon community has the turtle hatchery and a large supermarket for picking up supplies. However, it’s rather pricey to enter the Indigenous community at $17 pp. ‬
