Anima garden combines art and nature in a visually striking way. The entrance fee is relatively higher than others in marrakech or the surrounding .each corner reveals a new blend of nature and creativity providing a serene escape from the bustling city of Marrakech . The harmony creates a tranquil atmosphère. Don not hesitate to visit this amazing place for art and nature.

We loved this quirky garden - even the teen was impressed by the hidden sculptures and hammocks where you could hang out and chill. Cafe was nice and they have vegan coffee plus snacks.
We preferred this to the secret garden even though it’s a 45m drive out of Marrakesh and we chose to go here rather than Jardin Majorelle because it was way more tranquil - no waiting to take pictures/crowds of people.
Top tip - book the free transfer before you book the tickets if you want to get the free bus option.

Lovely tropical garden with many sculptures set within. Sinuous paths lead to garden rooms, each very different and set off by sculptures, some disquieting, others whimsical, others thought provoking. A chic cafe and store provide more reason to linger.

This was such a fun afternoon out of Marrakech! One of the highlights of our trip. It was easy to book and download our tickets online before the trip, and to reserve spots on the shuttle too. Please note this is a different page on the website that you visit! There seemed to be some confusion with people turning up for the shuttle who had not actually reserved seats. The shuttle arrived promptly and the pickup location was easy to find, just by Koutoubia.
The gardens are small but there is a lot to explore and discover. Half a day is more than enough time there, though I'd happily have stayed longer! We did a couple of laps and still had time to sit and just enjoy the nature, as it is a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. You must leave yourself enough time to visit the cafe, as the view of the mountains from the rooftop is sublime.

I really enjoyed this garden. It's about 30km outside of the city and the distance helps in giving it a quiet air. The plants and flowers are beautiful, and the various art and sculptures make for wonderful and at time eerie photo opportunities. There's a lovely cafe and gift shop too. This is the garden to visit in Marrakech!

Had a fantastic trip out to these gardens. It was lovely and peaceful and you could wander around at your own pace admiring the plants and artwork. There were different sections and plenty of seats to take a rest and take in the surroundings. We stopped for lunch at the cafe which was reasonably priced.

We’ve been visiting many gardens when in Marrakech but ANIMA was truely our favourite.
It’s a real gem that will take you out on a journey of discovering pure beauty. We took the shuttle at the Koutoubia mosque thah took us there in less than half an hour. A lovely drive to paradise.
We wandered around and took in all the beauty. We relaxed and came completely to rest at some of the most beautiful spots to finish off with a delicious meal at their café before we headed back to the vibrant city centre of Marrakech. That perfect and relaxing getaway you need on your holiday!

Very nice garden with integrated art. Beautiful design and colours that make you happy. It is like a storytelling.
Nearly every tree has a surprise, there is a wood with painted trees, cactus collection, museum, possibly to drink and eat something. Can spend 2-3 hours. A shuttle bus is arranged from koutibia moskee to the garden at regular times.

Hi, apart from the free shuttle bus, is there another bus line that goes to the garden? I'd like to visit but the free shuttle bus timetable is not convenient for me.

You can get one of the public mini buses heading for Ourika. These buses are frequent and cost next to nothing and will drop you on the roadside right outside the roadway leading to the park. You just tell the driver you want the Anima garden. Expect to pay around 10 dirhams. There will be a number of parked mini buses going to different areas, just ask and people will help you, ensuring you catch the right one.
Alternatively get a taxi or grand taxi, they’re cheap and will take you there too. The grand taxi, particularly if shared is really good value.
The mini buses can be caught at the main bus / grand taxi station in Marrakech (not too far from Jeema El Fna Square).

The bus leaves from the road down the side of the mosque - there will be other buses there that you will see - it does have a sign in the window so you know which bus. Check the website for times - I went on the 9.30 bus - it’s good to go early before it’s too busy.

Hi riacooke! Our Café Paul Bowles serves a variety of snacks and meals which are influenced by local and international cuisine, i.e. salads with spices from the garden, sandwiches, “pizza”, homemade saffron ice cream, mint lemonade etc.

If you check their website, they indicate it costs less on the web. I did that (I think it was around US$12). I didn’t check the dot at the ticket office, all I can say is that it is definitely worth it. The gardens are truly unusual and delightful. Crowds are worse on the weekend as it appears to be mainly “locals” (it is a way outside the centre of Marrakech so an unlikely destination for overseas tourists)
