AMAZING!!! Thorough, helpful, fun, and VERY communicative. Would work with them again in a second, and probably will. Planned amazing activities for our family, and we have already referred them to several people.

Are you interested in booking a high end private Israel tour for your family?! Whether it’s a big group or small intimate group, look no further than the INCREDIBLY KNOWLEDGEABLE Dovev Peer and his team with A Walk In Israel. Our trip was unforgettable and customized to a “T.” We only had five star plus plus service and experiences that ranged from spiritual, to historical to hysterical (as in funny!) to in-depth information that was imparted to us in the most INTERESTING AND FASCINATING manner. There was also time built in for us to relax and unwind.
We were there for my son’s bar mitzvah, but we will be back to tour with Dovev soon because we loved him so much. My children STILL talk about him months after our trip. We were the envy of many tour groups (you sometimes see the same groups along the way on tours).
If you’re someone who worries about Israel and safety, please don’t worry because we always felt more than safe (safety was a non-issue).
Our trip included VIP pick up and drop off at the airport, hotel bookings customized for our family’s wants and needs, restaurant reservations and daily all day tours with a printed itinerary loaded with with tons of insight… For example, after touring with Dovev, you will come away with the knowledge that many technological advancements originated in none other than…. Israel (we all know that Waze was created in Israel, but this is only the tip of the iceberg!)
Dovev is a seasoned guide that has spent time with multigenerational families large and small, (young and old mixed in) and has a calming presence with a fantastic sense of humor. The fact that my 11 and 13 year old boys connected with him and still miss him to this day speaks volumes about his ability to connect with people. Dovev and his team are professional, knowledgable, responsive (especially in planning mode as there is a lot of back and forth), fun and most importantly, he knew how and when to give us our own space to explore.
If you are planning a trip to Israel and want a magical trip that you and your family will never forget, RUN- don’t walk -to your phone and reach out to Dovev and a Walk in Israel!!

Dovev and his team were fantastic. Not only was the tour flawlessly planned, it was also thoughtful and attentive to the wide range of needs. We had children, elders, first time tourists to Israel and people who’d been there 15+ times, all in one tour. D was accommodating and able to modify on a whim. What I found most impressive was the range of knowledge about the sites, the varying societies, tribes, and current geo-political as well as the history. As my son said, to me, ‘Daddy, when I come back I can’t wait to get Dovev and go touring with him again.’
Lastly, as a son of a native Israeli who still has family there, I found Dovev’s kindness and attention to all to be warm and inviting - a true professional.

It was our first time visiting Israel and we had the most amazing experience! Everything was planned and customized to our needs! Dovev was unbelievable! I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Israel!!!

11 days of touring went off without a hitch. We had 3 generations so the tour had to have activities for all of us. We went from Acco in the north to Eilat in the south.
Our guide was knowledgeable on everything, and was personable.
The guide through the airport was very helpful, saved a lot of time.
I recommend Walk in Israel.

My family of 4 and our close friend family of 4 just returned from 12 days touring with Dovev and it was the most amazing Israel experience we have had. Dovev and team created an itinerary that met all of our expectations and beyond. From important historical Jewish and Christian sites to Army base visits, hiking and biking in the famous Negev Crater, boating and tubing in the Kineret, chartered helicopter transportation and tour of the country and outstanding culinary experiences - this was the trip of a lifetime. Having visited Israel 11 times prior to this trip with many other guides, I can't imagine my family or anyone I know touring Israel without Dovev. His depth of knowledge on every subject - history, geography, religion, cultures, military, language, etc. is unmatched and his ability to teach while having fun was unique and memorable.

We toured Caesarea, Haifa (Bahai Gardens), Akko, and Rosh Hanikra with Peter in a very full, customized day. Peter was amazing from start to finish. The car was very comfortable (important for a day which includes a lot of driving), and Peter was extremely knowledgable, informative, and engaging. We saw sites and walked through neighborhoods we wouldn't have been able to do on our own. The tour was fascinating. In addition, all planning and interaction with Dovev and Peter prior to the trip was easy and Dovev gave us great suggestions to align with our interests. We can't wait to schedule our next trip with Walk In Israel.

A terrific experience.
The tours were great--fun, great learning, personal, warm. Dovev not only knows where to go, and how to make the places visited come alive, he also is great to engage with on a personal level, about life in Israel, about questions on one's mind.
I would highly recommend Dovev.

My wife and I spent a week with Dovev on a mission with Beit Halochem. He did an amazing job as his knowledge and insight into Israel and its history was excellent. As a soldier in the army it brought another perspective on the life of Isaeli's. I have referred him to some friends already and would not hesitate to use his services in the future.
