Shalom,
I would like to extend my gratitude for having Heftzi as our tour guide for the Joseph Dumond group a couple weeks ago. Heftzi is so insightful about the land she so obviously loves and you can tell she loves to show it off. She is a ball of energy, fun, and I loved the history lessons with the props she brings along to share for her group to better understand things. She is awesome and would love to have her again for other tours. Hoping to get back soon.

This is my 20th time to visit Israel, and I have been showing people around for all 20 occasions. And we have come to some of my favourite spots again on this tour.
I want to thank Heftsi for being humble enough to allow me to chime in on some subjects and to teach our group along with her teachings at each place we stopped at. She brought an orthodox perspective to our group that was very much needed and was very much blessed by. Our group who wear tzit tsit and know the scripture, keep the Sabbath and Holy Days and eat kosher and are not Jewish, were new to her. I hope we did not offend her in any of our comments or questions.
She was perfect for our tour.
I want to thank you and Heftsi for blessing us with the teachings she did and I would recommend Tzur Tours and Heftsi again to anyone. Thank you. Our tour is now coming to an end and everyone I have spoken to is thrilled at all we have seen and done, and of which Heftsi was a blessing to us. Thank you very much.

I was recently on a tour in Israel and one of our tour guides was Heftzi Genut. May I say how wonderful Heftzi was! We were so very blessed to have her as our guide for three days. We found her to be not only knowledgeable but joyful and kind. She was such a delight to spend time with. Thank you so very much for assigning Heftzi to our group.

I cannot imagine any tour company that could possibly be better in planning & customer service than Tzur. In the planning stage of our visit, I had worked with about 4 different companies. Tzur was the only company that was flexible to make adjustments to fit my requests & at competitive pricing. When we arrived in TLV a private car was waiting for us even though we were 2 hrs late. We then met Eli at our hotel for the 1st day of tours. What a mensch Eli is. Every day he was exactly on time, not early, not late but perfectly on time. He drove us in a new van that even had some plastic still not removed. Every day the van was cleaned from the previous day of dust & sand. Eli is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of Israeli history & culture as well as other histories that relate to much of Israel's history. He knew Roman, Greek, Spanish, German, Polish histories & others that tied to our tours. Sivan (in the office) picked great hotels & offered us flexibility to book at any property, not just what they recommended. I loved this flexibility! Every day was an adventure. We hit all the typical highlights plus many special 'secret' places that many of or friends that have visited Israel never even heard of. Being 67 years old, Eli was in tune with my health & abilities. He was an expert in anticipating when to move faster & when to slow down. Bottom line, I could not imagine a more competent, kind, knowledgeable company/guide to make our trip of a lifetime as wonderful as it was.
As I have said to many....if you have thought of going to Israel, stop thinking & go... and when you go, call Tzur Tours for an absolutely perfect experience!

We arrived safely with all the wonderful memories and stories of Shimon and Israel.
Shimon was wonderful. He understood that it was our first time in Israel and guided us with a sincere effort to fulfill our dreams. We went every where in comfort and with the security of knowing we had the perfect guide. He was never tired or disinterested. We learned so much from him, stories and history we could not have gotten with a large group tour. He is a gem and we would love to host him and his family here in New York!
Our hotel in Tel Aviv was exceptional-the Hotel Shalom. The room, service and breakfast was all excellent. Our hotel at the Galilee was not so exceptional. I think it was the Sofia? I would not recommend that hotel to others. Our hotel in Jerusalem was excellent. The location was perfect. We were able to walk and explore and be a part of the daily life of Jerusalem when we weren’t with Shimon. We were very comfortable there.
There were many highlights: the Tomb of the Patriarchs, Masada, tzvat (sp?), the desert, the beaches of the Mediterranean, Yad Vashem, the Western wall, and so much more. We truly felt that we saw and felt a part of Israel and we owe that to Shimon.
We have raved to everyone we know about Tzur Tours and Shimon! You,Sivan, were also wonderful. We felt heard and taken care of by your patience and helpfulness. Our drivers to and from the airport, the seamless connections and your flexibility to make changes when we asked. We thank you!!!
We will never forget our time in Israel. It was the fulfillment of both our lives.

We want to thank you for our wonderful tour with Amit. It was organized perfectly and we were a great match with each other . We felt very taken care of and feel confident that we saw and experienced everything that was possible for the almost 2 weeks of touring. We are still absorbing all of the experiences and will continue to have wonderful memories of visiting Israel and Jordan.

We took a 9 day small group tour of Israel and it was a fabulous trip. It was a great itinerary and we saw all the highlights from Jerusalem, Golan Heights, Dead Sea, Tel Aviv and much more. Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting. Highly recommend Tzur Tours

Deciding to look into a private tour of Israel with Tzur Tours turned out to be one of the best travel decisions we’ve ever made. We’d run into problems with two group tours sponsored by our home temple, one a COVID casualty, one a calendar issue, and decided to investigate the private option. We were pleased to discover that the price difference was much less than we imagined, but the experience was so wonderful, start to finish that we stopped thinking of it in terms of cost almost immediately. From our very first email contact, everyone we dealt with—Eli Tzur himself and Sivan, in the office—was friendly, professional, and responsive, and later, our guide Uri, our immensely knowledgeable and warmly engaging companion on the ground, was exceptional in half a dozen ways.
Our itinerary followed one of the typical, basic tracks—Tel Aviv, the Galilee, Jerusalem—but Eli asked about our particular interests (history, ancient to modern, Jewish intellectual tradition, encountering the landscape on foot rather than through a windshield) and suggested some alternatives to what we knew to be the standard stops. He also set us up in excellent (but not expensive) boutique hotels in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem that were friendly, well-located, and well-run, but much too small to accommodate large tour groups. We loved the more intimate scale.
The match between us and our guide was brilliantly successful, and if our experience is at all typical, Tzur Tours sets and maintains excellent standards for their guides. As our tour proceeded, day by day, and Uri got to know us a bit, he continued to offer suggestions about new and different things we could do, and whenever there was time and opportunity, he always had great ideas about how to use them. Thanks to his improvisations, based on our interests, we stopped at the Rothschild Gardens before leaving Caesaria, visited two wineries, one in the valley of Ella and one near Shiloh—we wouldn’t even have been at the inspiring ruins at Shiloh, or Beit El, without his proposing it—and spent a couple of wonderful hours at Beit She’arim/Tsiporit, where Yehuda HaNasi compiled the Mishnah, on our way between the Galilee and Jerusalem. All through our trip, we benefited, and learned, from his shared knowledge and experience. Uri’s vast knowledge and his open, warm personality made magic every day, perhaps crowned by a combination of time, place, and story that he orchestrated at Masada, on Yom HaZikaron, that neither of us will ever forget.
My wife had spent most of a summer in Israel when she was twenty, more than fifty years ago; this was my first visit. We had thought and dreamed about this trip for a long time, and we extended it with another week in Jerusalem after our tour ended, but thanks to Tzur Tours, it all went absolutely smoothly and was all we hoped it would be and more.

Tzur Tours exceeded all our expectations and were simply responsive, honest, cost effective and knowledgeable. Our guide Lior was exceptional and extremely well prepared, timely and adjusted to our needs during our tour. I can honestly say that anyone considering working with Tzur Tours can do so with trust and confidence knowing that the company will provide a tour that will be fantastic. I was lucky to have found them and I would certainly recommend them to anyone interested and I will use them again in the future.

Sivan planned a wonderful Holy Land tour for me. I had a great time and everything was perfect! I appreciated that Sivan was always available to answer my questions and provide a quick response--she is a great communicator.
My tour guide, Elad Lichtenberg, was awesome.
I had the best time with him. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He was always on time, prepared and thinking ahead to make sure things went smoothly--truly a consummate professional. I felt very safe with him and trusted him completely. It was simply a delight to be in his presence, and he played a huge part in making my trip so memorable.
