Shalom Israel Tours was outstanding. Everything was easy and efficient. From the moment we landed in Tel Aviv, it was perfect. Our driver met us and everything was easy. When we arrived at our hotel we were welcomed with a nice fun welcome packet with all things we used on our trip. A lot of people on our tour were not happy with there tour companies. I was so pleased with our company. I think the only thing that would have been helpful is to have known that we were not all part of Shalom Israel Tours. That was a bit confusing just in the beginning when we met our Tour guide who we absolutely loved, his name is Meni Tzabari. I would ask for him and definitely book through Shalom Israel Tours!

It is so rare when people do EXACTLY what they promise, but everything with this tour was excellent. Shalom's communication was superb every step of the way. Even from the start, when we got to the airport, our transfers were waiting to get us through all the processing. Our guide Jackie, was SUPERB. This man was an absolute wealth of knowledge, and always in a positive and happy mood. Every step of the way, things were pre-booked and taken care of, so we weren't waiting etc. I have only positive things to say.

We did a 10 day private guided tour with Shalom Tours. I worked with my travel agent to make sure the trip was appealing to all ages of our family of 5, as well as a bat mitzvah service for our daughter. Our Shalom Tour Guide Mordecai, was extremely, knowledge and provided a vast amount of information for our entire group as we drove to our sites he provided information on the different areas that we were passing through. We left Israel with a different mindset than we see on the news. The sites and views were beyond amazing.

We had eight days of touring and went to all the major sites. The best part of the entire tour was the wisdom and knowledge of our tour guide, Shimon. In addition to knowledge of the sites and history, it was like having your own personal rabbi every day to provide spiritual insight into the Torah and Talmud.

After speaking with Shalom he put together a personal tour that appealed to all three generations of the family
From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were treated like VIP Royalty. The staff made all the paperwork seamless and the check in and the rooms were easy. The hotels in every city were in a great location.
The highlight of our tour was our guide, Eli. From the moment we met him we were thrilled to be in his company. He was so professional, knowledgeable, entertaining and instantly became a part of our family. His passion for Israel made every stop relevant and he had wonderful suggestions and additions to the prepared tour that were well suited for our group.
Our tour was a 12 day private tour and we would highly recommend Shalom Tours for anyone planning a trip to Israel.

I don't even know where to begin - 7 of us went to Israel (my parents, my brother, my wife, and our two boys aged 11 and 14). Shalom prepared a private 12 day tour for us that included VIP pickup at our gate upon landing in Israel and took care of us until we were at our gate ready for departure. Our Tour guide provided by Shalom (Eli) was incredible and really became part of our family while the Tour and he showed us Israel, from a wonderful history, key religious experiences, beautiful sightseeing, and great activities to keep the boys engaged. This was a wonderful and life changing experience for all of our family and I'd recommend Shalom Israel Tours to anyone looking to plan a trip. (I would also recommend Eli as a tour guide).

We are a family of four, with children aged 24 & 20. My son visited Israel on birthright 5 years ago, and my daughter went on birthright this year. We extended her trip so that we could travel Israel as a family. It was the first visit for my husband and myself. Shalom was recommended to me by a friend who traveled with this company years ago and I cannot thank her enough! Shalom tailored an itinerary to our family. Our guide, Mordecai was amazing! So knowledgeable and kind and funny and just a joy to travel with. He truly went above and beyond at every turn! I would 100% recommend!!!

We just finished a 17 day Shalom Tour with Daniel as our guide. This is our second trip with Shalom Tours and Daniel. We had an exceptional time and could not have asked for anyone better. Our group ranged in age from 11 to 75. All 7 of us were so impressed with Daniel’s knowledge and the personal care he gave us. We highly recommend Shalom Tours and Daniel for a trip that will leave you with a lifetime of wonderful memories.

I was reluctant about booking with this Tour Company as I didn't know much about it other than what I could find online. But immediately upon arrival I knew I made the right decision. After a long exhausting 24 hours of traveling it was so nice to have someone waiting for us and moving us through the airport to begin our vacation so quickly and effortlessly. And then we met Mordechai, our guide. What can I say about Mordechai. He was just a pleasure and by the end of our time together felt more like a member of the family than a guide. He was so knowledgeable and friendly and he really made our trip a huge success for sure. It was so fun traveling around his country with him and we could tell he was well liked by many people! And it's no wonder. We couldn't have asked for a better guide! Our entire trip, from beginning to end was perfectly planned and executed thanks to Shalom Israel Tours and our guide, Mordechai. I highly recommend this tour company if you are looking for a thorough and trouble-free tour of Israel. For us, it was worth every penny.

We chose the 12-day Deluxe Tour with the 4-day Eilat/Petra extension, and were delighted with our decision. did you take the side excursion to jordan? if so, how was paying for the visa?

We handle all details for the visa into JOrdan. The border fee to enter Jordan is a total of $125/ person. This is paid on-site directly to the Jordanian border authorities. They will accept cash (USD or ILS), or credit cards (with a small % credit card fee).

We travelled late June - early July. It was hot but manageable. For Masada, you absolutely must wear a hat and bring water. And regardless of how hot during the day, Jerusalem actually is cool in the evening, so you’ll need a wrap or shawl!
