This is the place is out of the crowded place of Trivendrum. The temple is beside the pond. Pond is require to clean.

A temple far from crowds and is very calm, a good temple pond cleaned and maintained by the local residents. A very pious one indeed. Only difficulty is the car parking facility.

At times the place is peaceful and at times crowded and buzzing with noise and chaos. The pond is not all that clean nor maintained at all times. Temple is old.

This temple is located just besides the river and is also made very nice. This is very old temple and covered with palm trees makes it very nice for day time visit. Temple is very good from inside as well.

This temple is about 3 kilometers from the central railway station and 1 km from the Pettah Railway station. The place where it is located is known as Vanchiyoor near the city courts. It is very easy to locate it. The temple gives us lot of solace if we are believers in the Almighty God and for the non believers it gives a better understanding of architecture. It should be visited.

This is a beautiful Sree Krishna temple situated at Rishimangalam, a location in the Vanchiyoor ward of Trivandrum City. Situated in a side road from the General Hospital Junction- District Court Junction Road, you may have to ask some one to find the turning from the main road without missing it, if you are a first time visitor to the area. The land mark will be, as you travel down from the GH Junction, you will find the Holy Angels Convent School on your left side. Travel down the road and after the School compound wall ends and a short distance down you will find the side road to t he right going to the temple. You will have to drive around the large Temple Po0nd to reach the Templegates. But as sson as you take the turn you will notice the Arch gateway of the temple.

Krishna is the main deity here. Along with Ganesha, Devi, Naagar (the serpent god), Swami Ayyappa, Hanuman and the Navagrahas (9 celestial). Believed to be very powerful by the regulars.

A quiet temple (most of the times, except during the festival season which comes in April 2nd week) with brilliant WALL CARVINGS depicting the stories from Hindu mythology.
Krishna is the main deity here. Along with Ganesha, Devi, Naagar (the serpent god), Swami Ayyappa, Hanuman and the Navagrahas (9 celestial).
Believed to be very powerful by the regulars.
The story is that the saptharishis (7 saints at the court of Indra) appeared at 7 different spots in Trivandrum to have a snaan (bath) and visit the Supreme Lord Sree Padmanabha. And temples for Krishna/Vishnu were made at each of these spots. One of the spot was Rishimangalam.
