‪Govt Tourism offers cottages at this place. Book in advance to avail them. Nights are for animals. One could see animals roam around during the nights. Elephant Safari, Trekks (Seasonal), Forest safari are attractions. There is an Elephant rehab centre which is worth a visit. ‬

‪Nothing great when compared to Bandipur or mudumalai. Try to book a safari in the Kerala part of this forest. Try some tribal made handicrafts at the forest store. Don't take guide at the entrance waste of money .

‪I went to this place from Pollachi new bus stop. Traveled for 40 kilometers. The place is a nice feast for eyes. I have seen deer and elephant on just entered the place. Special booking of Safaries took me inside the wildlife sanctury where we can see all the animals.‬

‪A Calm picturesque forest under the control of the forest department. Not known to many people but a must visit place to witness wildlife. In nutshell the things to do: 1.make a plan a month ago 2.no private hotels or home stays so make arrangements to stay in the forest dept guest house or tree house. 3. No restaurants you need to ask forest canteen to cook in advance if you are staying there. 4. Do stay for a night in the forest cottages you can definitely witness wildlife crossing your cottage.. 5. The forest department organizes jungle safari trip do experience it. A calm place which will keep you away from the city buzz.‬
