A Winter Walk on a Sunny day beautiful walk along the river in the snow the largest statue of Peter the Great worth seeing. The river was very nearly frozen and boat trips were still traveling up and down. I can understand why this is such a popular place especially in the Summer so good for families couple everyone really so many activities than in winter. There are Artists that sell there creations along the river amazing local talent.
I would love to return in the summer..but for us a winter stroll in a beautiful place just wrap up warm and take advantage of the warm coffee huts.

Clean and tidy some rides getting old but they building big new ride most likely to be finished end of June. Great for kids and families.
It was busy this time, we visit as we stayed next to the park, looks like it's open very late at the moment (white nights)
Free wifi connection in the area but connection can be hit or miss

Lovely rotunda in the centre, today I saw a newly married couple dancing on it, very picturesque. There are lots of games and rides to keep young children entertained and the opportunity to buy something sweet for the big kids too. Pony rides (sometimes) at weekends.

Clean park with a lot of little store front vendors. Ample snack and food choices. One enclosed ferris wheel that gives a nice view of the area.

It is a beautful place to relax: you can enjoy the trees, have ice cream, try attractions like an observation wheel or ponies or car racing.

Cruel animal treatment at mini Zoo of the Gorky Park!!!
I was shocked to see that in the freezing temperature -15 and lower the animals have nowhere to hide. The cages have no walls, no heating not even a box. These animals cannot run or to fly to keep warm. My daughter and I were in tears when I realized that these animals have to endure this for months and months. Most of them are unlikely to survive to see the Spring. The admin of the Zoo clearly has no care about the animals. The staff member has agreed with me and said that they tried to address the situation but nothing has been done but the administration. The animals who make money for the mini-zoo during the whole year deserve a place to hide, to have some warmth and comfort in the hars Russian winter. I will go again tomorrow. If nothing is done I will have no choice but to alert international community for protection of animals with intention to close this cruel mini-zoo. This is not the way to teach the kids about animals. This mini-zoo give joy to no one. The smell is upsetting too.
