‪PINEAPPLE BEACH‬

‪This is a very small beach, actually there's no point in considering it, it's just too small to worth visiting. I walked until there as I saw that tripadvisor mentioned about.

‪We visited at sunset and saw a fine array of rats eating left over food/litter on the beach. Our visit was on a weekend during the school holidays, and many locals seemed happy to be on the beach. We only swam at the hotel pool. It\s an interesting shipping lane though, with tugs and container ships.‬

‪Used by many locals but not sure who organises it. Parking for motos, local food and coffee at the road side and sometimes fresh fish sold.‬

‪Perfect Swimming Spot‬

‪I don't know that I would call this a beach, but it is a water access along Ha Long. As far as swimming in Vung Tau goes, it's my favorite. I access very close to 66 Ha Long and love swimming out to the line of buoys and back. The rope leading down the stairs helps to get down safely when there are waves.‬

‪Lifeguard patrolled‬
חברים • מרץ 2016
‪I live opposite the beach and use it on a daily basis all year.
It has steps leading down to beach and a lifeguard employed by the Lan Rung Resort is on duty every day.
Nice white sand and quite clear water during winter and spring.
During the wet season a lot of rubbish including water hyacinth is washed down the rivers, which makes the water murky and littered (cans, plastic bottles, plastic bags, thongs, polystyrene, in fact any sort of trash you can imagine).
The life guards do attempt to clean the trash from the beach especially on weekends when a lot of people use the beach.
It is generally a lot more protected and better for small children than the popular Back Beach and a lot less busy. On weekends and busy times there are deck chairs and umbrellas available for a very small fee.‬
