I can say from the bottom of my heart, I don’t know if I’ll ever see another view as magnificent as this one. Super authentic and peaceful.

Amazing place to see the sunrise and easy to get to by rented moped.
We got there at 5:30am (opening time) and got to see the beautiful change of colors during the sunrise’s phases. The moon was also visible.
Cute little cafe at the top serving good coffee and breakfast. Their smoothies looked yummy too.
The place would also look amazing at sunset as it has a panoramic view.
There is an option to ride a pickup service for 80 THB but we walked up in the dark which added to the fun.

Beautiful place! You can also go up the hill by transfer car for 30 baht more.
Tourist are more attracted to this viewpoint, so it makes sense tourists pay more.

Hike to the top was easy, even in flip flops. About 15 minutes walk and suitable for all except the elderly. At the top, you will enjoy a beautiful view. There's a very small cafe serving drinks and some food. There are some shady places for eating and drinking, while enjoying the view. Toilets were clean. There were a few basic A-frame huts half way up, didn't notice the nightly rate. Shaded parking area was a bonus. Entry was 50b per person, maybe a bit high for what is provided, considering they make money off food and drinks at the top of the hill.

The 360 degree views from the Summit are immense and definitely worth the 50B entrance fee for foreign adults. There’s also a car shuttle to the top for those who don’t wish to hike uphill for 10mins.

A nice surprise when you arrive after the hike up the hill. Wear good shoes not sandals! They offer a full breakfast. The staff are great!

This is a great place to visit but a little off the Western Tourist map. Hopefully this review will act as a guide:
Access is off the main 4034 road in Ban Khao Klom. Keep an eye out for the Krabi International School sign and take the small road between the Minute Mart and the local school.
A couple of KM along the road on you left will be 300m, 200m and 100m signs in Thai - not very helpful I grant you but just look out for the numbers then there's a massive sign, turn left just before the sign. You'll think it's someone's drive but have faith!
There are a couple of parking spaces to the left and a dirt track going into the jungle. Now you really do need to have faith and keep going. Yes, it's bumpy. Drive slowly. After about 500m just when you're beginning to panic and wonder if you will ever come out alive the road opens up to a large parking area. You've made it!
Look for a little path going past a gazebo on the side of a house. Someone will come out and relieve you of 50 baht (non Thai) or 20 baht if you're Thai. Please don't be offended by the price difference, it isn't meant in a nasty way, it's just how things are at many attractions over here. Hey, try living on a Thai wage!!
Oh, I meant to say, before you get to the entrance fee gazebo there are a couple of western style toilets as you walk away from the car park in a concrete building to your right. Now is the time to use them.
Having paid your money it's time to earn that view. You start off climbing some rough concrete steps. Pace yourself. In total the walk is going to take 5 or 10 minutes. At the top of the steps there's a little seating area and also some basic huts you can rent overnight with an amazing view over the valley below.
Carry on, the track bears round to the left. You're now walking on slightly uneven but solid ground. Just keep going. Eventually you come to a signpost. Straight on to some toilets (I think they are Thai squatters but I didn't investigate thoroughly), right for everything else.
You walk past a small restaurant area then up to the viewing platforms. There is also a Muslim prayer room.
The views are stunning. You can look towards the sun rise across a vast Krabi Valley with mountains rising up in the distance or you can look West towards the sunset and Phang Nga bay with Khao Yao Noi in the distance.
Aim to arrive just before sunrise (they open from 5:30am). Early mornings are good because it's cool for the walk up and if you arrive after it's rained there will be a covering of mist down bellow you as the sun heats up the land.
Having taken a million photos you've earned a little breakfast treat. They do coffee, fried churro / doughnuts things (Pa Thong Ko) with condensed milk, Thai food and some western bits and bobs. It isn't expensive so fill your boots and experiment.
There are some tents at the top which you can rent if you feel inclined and if you wanted to pitch your own that is also possible. There is even a small BBQ.
This is a great attraction and the result of some local ingenuity. It isn't expensive, they have tried hard to cater for everyone and deserve to be successful. It's also a nice way to integrate with local people if you're here on holiday. The day I went I was the only westerner, everyone else was Thai but everyone was friendly and we all enjoyed the amazing views helped each other with photos and so on.

I was staying at the Frog and Catfish inn about 300 metres from the entrance so decided to walk, after quite an easy hike I came to a bamboo sala with quite a pleasant view, after a few moments a friends wife came along and said what are you doing and laughed, it turns out I was only half way so after my rest I continued up and WoW was I happy, the views are stunning and they even have a smart little cafe up there at really cheap prices. I know somebody left a review saying they were attacked by 4 mosquitos, 4, I nearly died laughing. Maybe they should have stayed in Poland. At 50 Baht per head this has to be one of the best value trips on the planet. Plus once down you can get a cold beer and some of the best food in Thailand at the Frog and Catfish.
