we were asked through Ramsbury Brewery if we could bring along our WW2 vehicle to the event on friday 17th september to help host the launch of 506 beer,the word was that there would be a free BBQ for the drivers,we were all disappointed that the BBQ meal was a burger in a roll or a sausage in a roll with or without onions,we were not offered anything else,we would not call this a BBQ.
other crew members eg wifes and girlfriends who help maintain and pay for these vehicles ,were not offered any discount,at £5 a burger this seems an awful lot.
There was no discount for any drinks and not even a thank you from the staff,even though some of us took half days off to make an appearance.We feel we have been well and truly used,and would not go back again.The only thank you we got was from Neil who was the person that had been contacted by the brewery.Members fromthe military vehicle trust wiltshire area.

Went here last night, was rudely treated by the barmaid not for the first time, and a short while later followed outside by her partner and assaulted. The owners response, its all my fault at least the police aren't taking that view. Please boycott this pub and the H&M empire that owns it

Although we visited on a cold blustery day our tour was wonderful. Great guide who was very knowledgable, got to taste some great beers and the companies vodka and gin! Would probably visit again, great time had by all.

Ramsbury Brewery offer tours of their brewing facility
This is a must do tour for anyone with even the slightest interest in beers
The guide was extremely knowledgeable about his products and processes and conducted the tour with a good degree of information and a very sharp sense of humour which made the tour all the more enjoyable
You are able to sample as much of the beer as you want - so make sure you aren’t driving!!
Ramsbury also produce Gin and Vodka and the tour includes the distillery and again samples
Again a must do tour - a couple of hours very well spent

What an afternoon! I booked this for my husband and I’m so glad I did, he was in his element. The master brewer who showed us around was brilliant, he was extremely knowledgeable and really passionate about his job. No question from anyone in the group went unanswered and was welcomed. My husband loves trying the different beers available to try, and when the website says ample samples it really means it!!
If you can not drive so that you can fully enjoy all the samples then do so, but saying that I didn’t drink as I’m pregnant and still found it an enjoyable experience and a fun few hours!

We had a fantastic time touring the Ramsbury brewery and distillery, Fred took privately the 14 of us around the whole production filling us in with all the details of how the beer and gin/vodka is made, great smells, great tasting and great laughs! Watch out for Freds dry humour it’s brilliant! Don’t change a thing guys! We all wish you lots of continued success and growth, such fun!

Having done a few brewery tours, Fred brought the Ramsbury Brewery to life and both entertaining and informative. The tour also covers both the beer brewery and gin and vodka distillery and brilliant value, both 1.5hrs tour and you can try all of the beers and spirits as part of the tour!
Definitely, recommend and suggest ideally, you have a driver who can drop off and pick up to make the most of the trip.

We visited the Brewery which was a birthday pressie for my Husband. We were a small group (6 of us) Fred was very entertaining and passionate about his job- his knowledge was excellent and we came away knowing a lot more about Beer,Vodka and Gin. Tasting was fun....as much as you could followed by smoked Venison! Well worth a visit- a most enjoyable 2 hour experience

Had a visit to brewery and distillery as a surprise. Very informative, interesting and enjoyable and excellent opportunity to sample the wares; especially if not driving!
Morning visit complemented beautifully by lunch at the local pub with delicious food.

We had a great time taking the tour of the brewery and distillery. Our guide Fred was informative and great fun. We highly recommend this as a must for any beer or gin lover
