We took our (3 gens) family there on Black Friday and split up our 6 adults and 3 boys (7-12) to try our fortunes at both rooms, adult versions. Each group had just 1 member experienced with any escape rooms. Both groups were able to escape, between 55 and 59 minutes, so the pace was perfect. Kayla monitored the Sherlock room and Alex monitored the Precinct room. Kayla provided just a few written hints when we were spinning our wheels a bit, and Alex was a little more liberal with verbal hints. We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation and found the lobby challenges a great warmup for the first-timers to get the feel of how the room items could be set up. The instructions and safety warnings were done very cleverly with props and a friendly and helpful presentation. All in all we had a great time and would recommend EGL, especially for first timers.

Challenging and fun experience today for my daughter’s birthday! I took a group of 4 teenage girls. We did the Sherlock Holmes escape. Mike made sure our experience was fun and very interactive. The room was beautiful with so many things to find to help us along the way. We will definitely be back!

We had SUCH an awesome time here!!! I took my 3 (younger) nieces and we did the kid version of the Sherlock Holmes room. Mike was incredible by giving us JUST enough hints that would help us move along but also keep us challenged. He was hilarious and really made the experience relatable and enjoyable to not only me (as an adult) but to my nieces as well. We will definitely be back!

Our host Mike was the best! Did both rooms they were fun & challenging. We were not successful at escaping the Sherlock room though! Highly recommend!

Tough but super fun! I liked how they offered hints throughout when we got stuck. Loved the room and the objects to help unlock the clues, mike was fantastic! We will be back to do the other rooms soon!!

We had a fantastic time! This was one of our favorite escape rooms we’ve done. The Sherlock Holmes Office was hard enough to be a challenge for the 8 of us but able to be conquered. Alex was a fun host…very friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience even better. Thank you!

We were a group of 9 that chose the Precinct. Most of us had never been to an escape room. Took a bit to figure things out & we needed some help but we were able to escape. Our host, Mike, was very professional, funny & helpful throughout the process. Everyone in our group had a great time. Highly recommend this activity.

The room was just the right challenge level for our family, which made us all interact well together. The guide, Mike, helped us have a great birthday activity there for our 15 year old. Highly recommend!

Hi there! Yes, an 8 year old can play any regular game with adults. If your visit is really FOR the 8 year old, you may consider our kids room, Mojo's Museum.
In a regular room, we find thaat kids make excellent finders of things and they can participate in every puzzle. Have fun!
