So it's been here a long time probably didn't look as park like and fancy as now but fascinating to think of all the people that have wandered around it over the years ... contemplating.

This was not a destination, but a very pleasant surprise. We had intended to visit the nearby art museum but found it closed. Across the street we noticed a beautiful park. I was blown away by the variety of water iris thriving there. I didn't even know so many colors existed! The park was clean and well tended.

We enjoyed this beautiful park and what made it most interesting is it is in the place that was where the labs were that developed the atomic bomb! Pretty incredible. The flowers were beautiful and the ducks and geese were so fun, just a beautiful place for a morning or evening walk.

We stopped here on our trip through the area. Was a great place to stretch legs and had a nice farmer's market.

The town has moved on since atom bomb testing era, so the town on the whole was somewhat disappointing. However the pond is a nice relaxing spot and an easy walk around

Very nice, relaxing, appealing atmosphere. Enjoyed iteraction with the geese, and enviroment. Such a relaxong pretty place to visit and walk around.

The pond is super beautiful with the mountain landscape behind, ducks and geese and turtles and lots of big koi fish. Nicely landscaped with flowers and a running water fall and a fountain in the middle. Great Friday night concerts with a beer garden and food venders. Bouncy houses too. Tuesday night is jazz. Bring your own chair, blanket, wine and picnic. Get some local food across the street and enjoy the large trees on lush grass.

Ashley Pond is directly across from the Fuller Lodge. It’s a beautiful congegrating area for the locals. It’s named for the founder of the Los Alamos boys school and as I walked around it the peacefulness and the serenity were so in the air!!!! A great place to relax and unwind!!!

The pond is something to share with all ages. The Friday night summer concert series is a remarkable and generous community event for all ages and all are welcome. Bring a chair or blanket, get some street food, and settle in for a special treat! I highly recommend this for all ages.

This is a great place to stop and refresh if out and visiting some of the historical sites in Los Alamos. Fun to see all the ducks and visitors.

I just remembered, there are many parking spots adjacent to the park on the southeast side (across from the Santa Fe Bank, now First Naional 1870, is handicapped parking. This is also where the food trucks are. The answer is they have made the concerts handicapped accessible.
