Great termal spa with lot of history and charm

This is a great termal spa with lot of history and charm. The spa complex is spatious and contains both indoor and outdoor area. Really worth visitng.

It smells like rotten eggs but apparently it’s supposed to smell like that because of the minerals in the water. The whole changing clothes process is a little bit complicated but apart from that it was a nice experience. There are 4 different temperature pools, 2 of them outside. From 2pm you only pay half the price you pay in the morning but it’s also way more crowded in the afternoon. I recommend coming in the morning.

A variety of pools to enjoy. Inside and out. Many areas to ease the aches and pains. Get place to enjoy the whole day.

Don/t miss it if you go to Harkany in summer

We spent one afternoon here during a hot August day. The spa is large with many pools, buffets and green area enough for many. The infrastructure is a bit outdated but well maintained. Prices are very reasonable even at Hungarian standards.

Super clean bathing experience. We have stayed for the whole day. Very relaxing. Facility kept clean. The thermal bath is amazing. Food wise, there should be more healthier options, salads and veggies.

Spacious large spa complex

Although visited in winter, the spa was full of visitors and outer pools packed with people enjoying hot sulphureous water. Everything is well organized. Pools, jacuzzi, Turkish steam sauna and dry Finnish sauna.

Harkany is a great place for your stay, whether you only wish to enjoy your bathing time or see the beauty of its surrounding places. It's close to everytning... Pecs (European Cultural Centre of 2010th), Siklos, a famous wine region Villany...

Admitted, it's been renovated, but this was a throwback in my childhood. The smell is the same, the pool and outside area the same, yet of course renovated after such a long time. Great if you are around of a thermal spa buff.

Family fun

For years my father took us to Harkany Thermal spa in Hungary. So it became our family tradition. I took my son to Harkany too. It is very close to Siklos city and Pech City. Harkany has a lots of restaurants and shops.
