Non è di certo un'attrazione turistica di grande importanza, in fin dei conti è una semplice colonna che sostiene una statua del Cristo. La cosa bella è la location. Sulla sommità di una collinetta alle spalle di Ibiza, contornata da boschetti e ville di residenti. Un luogo senza particolari interessi ma molto tranquillo, silenzioso e ombreggiato.

Этот красивый памятник мы видели каждый день по пути из Ибицы к нашему дому в сторону Сан Антонио.Величественная фигура Христа на 20 метровой колонне видна отовсюду.Смотровая площадка возле статуи.Фигуру спасителя установили здесь после Второй мировой войны.Самая высокая колонна на острове

Nichts ahnend sieht man immer wieder am Abend die beleuchtete Jesusstatue, die alles ueberstrahlt auf der linken Seite von St. Ants kommend, Richtung Eivissa fahrend. Finden Sie sie und geniessen Sie einen ganz besonderen Platz mit Teaumblick ueber die Insel. Und dann entdeckt man auch die alte Hauptstrasse...

L'alta colonna che sostiene Gesu' con le braccia aperte pare avvolgere a se l'intera Ibiza. Con il culto al Sacro Cuore di Gesù, la Chiesa Cattolica intende onorare il Cuore di Gesù Cristo, uno degli organi simboleggianti la sua umanità, che per l’intima unione con la Divinità, ha diritto all’adorazione e l’amore del Salvatore per gli uomini, di cui è simbolo proprio il Suo Cuore.

Se trata de un monumento erigido después de la guerra civil española en 1947. Se halla en una montaña cercana a Ibiza, a la derecha de la carretera de Ibiza a Sant Antoni. Tiene una altura de 24 metros y enfrente de la estatua hay un mirador, desde el que se puede ver unas magníficas vistas de Ibiza, sus playas y Formentera. En el entorno hay algunas casas o chalets con su calles empedradas.
