We played here as a group of 16 a fantastic course a totally different front 9 compared to back 9 very tricky course but great fun in lovely condition greens super fast and good fairways good service all round by friendly staff nothing not to like about playing here if you want a challenge bring a few extra golf balls enjoy your game

We are not golfers but have eaten here many times and have walked here for drinks every visit in 6 years. We have never had a bad meal and the service is always excellent. Warning. Very large spirit measures.

A friend advised us to play this course and wow I was not disappointed, one of the most varied interesting courses I have ever played. Can’t wait to return when the weather is a little kinder it was very windy the day we played.

Good value but in need of some attention. Tees, fairways and greens need some work on them. It’s a very difficult course especially if you have never played it before, take plenty of golf balls. My personal views is that it’s a good challenge for the better golfer, no so enjoyable for the high handicapper.

Played the course 1st October, first time back for 6 years, course was stunning, forget what people say about losing balls, if you can play golf it's a beaut of a course

I have eaten several times at the restaurant and it has always been lovely, the views are breathtaking the staff very thoughtful and kind. My husband and son in law have played on the golf course and said it was a difficult one but that made it more fun. The views are stunning as is all Alhaurin El Grande.

We stayed here. We were charged for food we never ate. When we challenged this we were told a member of staff had said we had eaten so we had to pay. We asked to be provided with proof, as you have to sign the bill in the restaurant. We were never provided with that proof, no doubt because it did not exist, as we had not eaten there. Staff were indifferent. Hotel was not well maintained. Bathroom flooded every time you used shower. The smell of sewerage from the bathroom was overpowering. A hotel to be avoided definitely

10 new buggies delivered today. Par 3 is superbly kept and most holes need a straight 1st shot greens are better than most of 18 hole coarses on the coast. Main course 1st hole drive left of centre gives you a better 2nd shot.2nd hole good drive with slight fade right will leave a short chip onto green. 4th hole good drive with right fade makes a easy par 4. Hole 6 90 degree right for 2nd shot out of bounds if your 2 goes left. Hole 7 keep centre or right your ball will come back to centre. 8th hole centre or left will give you a good shot at green be careful all left out of bounds. 9th hole slight dog leg left.11th dog leg left keep centre or right go left your on the 18th fairway and easy to drop a shot or 2. 13th hole dog leg left three wood right is ample keep centre right is out of bounds left is hard to find 2nd shot centre or slightly left as right is out of bounds. 15th hole right is out of bounds long drive is good if you go a bit left shout FOUR as golfers coming back up the 16th cannot be seen you can still par this hole by playing down the 16th keep to right. 16th if you go left or right shout FOUR 15th left 18th green right 2 nd shot water to right hand side of green left still gives chip onto green remember FOUR .17th straight drive is important will give you a great shot to green. 18th long drive is good centre or bit left right is all water right onto 11th fairway left still gives great shot towards last green just remember FOUR.A very rewarding course.

My first of four on my latest trip and a great intro to the week.
It helped that i played well (started par birdie par) but i thought the course was very pituresque with some challenging holes and true greens.
Easy to book and and no trouble with slow round as i was second off and scooted around.
Would love to return.
