‪Hebron wine goblets‬
יולי 2018
‪I bought Hebron goblets 30 years ago when I visited the city and still love them. The work is sophisticated and beautiful, and unlike any I've ever seen. The only problem is getting replacements for the two that broke--which I managed to do, online, within the past year.‬

‪Pretty glass and more‬
חברים • דצמ׳ 2018
‪This place had beautiful glass works as well as spices, trinkets, leather shoes, mud masks and more. They are a bit pushy but just tell them you are looking and will let them know. The glass work is very pricey.‬

‪We stopped here with a group we were with. They do have beautiful glass but you can also find it on eBay. The bad part was if you even glanced at something in the store, you were covered up with somebody trying to pressure you into buying it. We probably would have bought a few things here had they just let us shop without the high pressure. As it was, we walked right out and waited on the rest of our group.‬

‪Beautiful glass where you might not expect to find it‬
חברים • נוב׳ 2016
‪Much of what you see in Hebron, a town in the occupied West Bank, is depressing, no matter what your politics may be. This small factory is a bright spot in a bleak place. The men who blow glass, and create and paint ceramics are true artisans who allow you to observe them in the creative process. When we were there on a very warm day, two glassblowers, with tip boxes nearby, sat next to hot ovens, working molten glass into all sorts of beautiful creations. In a separate room, about ten men sat around a table hand painting beautiful designs on all manner of ceramics. The sales area was adjacent. My husband and I bought beautiful wine glasses and Christmas ornaments, marveling at the distinctive swirling colors in the opaque glass. You'll probably spend about half an hour here, and you won't regret that you did.‬

‪to see the manufacture of glass and ceramics using traditional methods today is unique and so inspiring. This visit is a must for anyone sensitive to the perpetuation of traditional crafts and knowledge skills.
You see first hand people blowing glass made from earthenware furnaces. And people making plates, pots and bowls from the potter's wheel, and painting them by hand or with individual small handmade screenprints.
if we could afford it we would buy all the shop's wares. Absolutely beautiful craftwork. Wonderful presents for friends and family across the world. Congratulations Hebron!
THe place is easy to get to - it is just at the entrance to the city, on the main road going up the hill. You can park your car just on the side of the road in front of the shop/factory.‬

‪Factory with shop, quality souvenirs‬

‪A visit to the factory and outlet shop was a part of a day trip to Bethlehem and Hebron, from Jerusalem. They make nice things, decent prices, and it is fun to watch the glass blowers at work. And it is a very good thing to support local business in this area.‬

‪Murano glass at a fraction of the price‬

‪This and other glassmakers in Hebron offer a unique cultural experience, in addition to beautiful, timeless art glass. The designs and the quality are top notch. I plan to go back and ask the store to make a lamp of a glass urn. The ceramic tables are very good quality here, and you can order your design from many traditional patterns, and have it made. Some glass stores deliver to Jerusalem. You can watch the glassblowers make the glass at the workshop, and some people even go to the glass district in Hebron's Old City to do that, but I've been dissuaded by regional tensions.‬

‪HEBRON, PALESTINA‬

‪I think that is where the tourists to know that for. Hebron glass, it is best to go right at Hebron. How to get there? You make a trip on your own, 1 day, with morning departure from East Jerusalem Bus Station, located opposite the DAMASCUS GATE toward Bethlehem. There are large buses that depart when they are at half capacity, meaning faster and pay 20 sechelli, pt. 1.5 hours drive. No more control entry into Palestine and I do not change bus. Exactly at the end of line, in BETHLEHEM, there are a lot of taxi and the drivers, you simply jump. You receding a little station and you will see that you have behind you only 2-3 drivers that make you offers. The art of negotiating is to you. I won easily on all day, car with driver, 4 pers. pt. Schell 100, that led to the Church of Our Lady and wait there for me, went to the city of Hebron, 60 km, on the highway, waiting there for 4:00, Hebron city tour and return to Bethlehem, the old center bus.In station in Hebron They are two parallel streets in the popular bazaar in Israel and the prices are 60% smaller in Jerusalem. There buy bottle of Hebron, home from her mother choose and how you negotiate. Hebron is the 2nd largest city in Palestine with extraordinarily friendly people, and the city was a delight for. and it cost me Family: Schell 150 of which - 50 SCHELL-bus, taxi Schell 40, with tip-30 with everything and the food Schell Schell 30. Easy and simple, as indeed, I stayed in Israel 11 days, EILAT-5 days and 5 days with 1500 Euro iERUSALIM- family, with trips to the Dead Sea and Masada everything.‬

‪Beautiful Hand-Blown Phoenician Glass‬
זוגות • נוב׳ 2014
‪It's wonderful to see the local art of glass blowing up close, to be able to meet and speak with the artists, and to be able to purchase lovely pieces at the factory source. If you are not near Hebron during your visit, you will also find Hebron Glass at the airport shops (albeit much higher priced). I purchased some lovely wine glasses. I also purchased ornaments, which I enjoyed hanging during the holiday season. If you are able, this is an interesting stop!‬

‪Get beautiful handblown phoenecian glass from the source at a bargain price and support Palestinians at‬
לבד • אפר׳ 2015
‪If you're traveling in the West Bank, you're probably either on a Jewish tour headed to the (illegal) settlements or you're on a tour visiting holy land sites. If you're in the latter category, and you're lucky, your guide will take you to the Hebron Glass Factory. If your're in the former sorry you've been fully indoctrinated a to how dangerous what's left of Palestine is, and you would never dare to venture there (your loss). If you have been to Jericho or a number of other touristy sites or at Ben Gurion airport for that matter, Hebron glass will be featured at the gift shops for handsome price tags. If you're not in a tour group, getting to the factory is a little bit more of a challenge. It's maybe a kilometer or so outside of the old city of Hebron. If you love artisan glass, it is definitely worth the trouble getting there. At the factory, you will have the full array of products available to purview in the store, from wine glasses and tumblers, to vases and hanging ornaments. They also sell a lot of Palestinian hand-painted pottery. You cannot beat the prices, and the more you buy, the better the bargain. They will even bubble wrap and box your purchase so you can go to the local post to have it shipped home.‬
