I’ve shopped here for 12 years now and got to know all the staff that work there and have to say their all great people.It’s been a hard couple of years with the pandemic and have to say their a credit to Morrisons how they dealt with the customers especially the ackward ones.
Everybody has their own experiences and how they take things but will say some people can look in a mirror and fall out with themselves 😀

the free wifi is stifled by a filter which stops all emails so its useless. not even mcdonalds do this!

This is now my nearest Morrison’s as we have moved house. Having read some very bad reviews for this store I was reluctant to shop here but I was VERY pleasantly surprised! LOADS of products, including fresh food, a bright, well laid out store and very friendly helpful staff. I shopped at 16:30 and the store was well stocked and not too busy. I will definitely shop here regularly. It’s an excellent store and I recommend it to everyone.

Extremely rude member of staff there today serving in the new plant area in the car park. I am 56 years old and been brought up to respect people and be polite. I have NEVER been spoken to like I was today and I have NEVER had to respond the way I did. She had no manners no understanding that people need time and space themselves. This is not the first time I have seen evidence of this. I was with my 86 year old mum but there is no option to choose this on here

Well if i could have given a zero star i would have for the rude staff you have there.. We some of them... A few months ago i had to complaint about a young lad, who refused to bring out some milk and made me and others wait over 20mins bringing every other milk than what we was all waiting for... manager went in back and brought me 1 out and gave it to me as a good will gesture for free... The till staff i would say half are absolutely vile, i dodge most of them and always go to the lovely girls that are so polite and helpful. but again as i got to the end of a very long queue they changed for a break, and guess what? you got it, i could not have got one ruder, and the bloody supervisor with the long blonde hair thinks shes owns the place, even the you girl on the checkout Apologised to me for her rude attitude... i am sick of having very little date on the fresh food, and your quite frank rude staff, i will not be back.

Not enough tills open for 1 pm Saturday, queued, till missed reduced item , Roast Chicken dinner for one , difference of £1.35 or thereabouts.
Queued at Customer Service (tobacco, confectionary, etc..) to have mistake rectified , only one girl serving, blowing up helium balloons, 5 customers waiting, went to 'we can help stand' , but she couldn't or wouldn't, directed back to Customer Service, 7 in queue, still blowing up balloons.
Impatient, ice cream melting, walked to front of queue, put reduced item on chocolate bars plus receipt for £52 odd.
Walked out. Won't ever return. Badly run.

Why is the Knottingley Store the worst by far when it comes to adherence to staff wearing in store face coverings? Almost without exception the in store staff at Rothwell adhere to the rules so why can't the staff at Knottingley? Poor management at their Knottingley store or maybe they just don't care? It's not a one off it's been like it for months and it's not confined to a particular age group. With Corona virus on the rise across the country it's incumbant on us all to look after each other.

Turn this place into a Lidl please, absolute shambles of a supermarket. 4 tills open on a very busy Saturday morning, an average of 11 people (trying to socially distance) in each queue down the food isles, shoppers couldn't get to the shelves as customers were blocking them.
A Morrisons employee in queue behind us admitted it was because they won't pay overtime, business madness, if the queues are that big then the turnover warrants more tills to be staffed.
I complained to a supervisor twice while waiting 25 minutes.
Not one manager in sight all of the time we were there, very poor experience.

Hope this is the Parkgate Retail park store if not apologies ,
Strangers to the area just here on a mission to pick something up from a friend up this way and we’re too early so called for something to eat in the restaurant part after standing in a queue for about 20 minutes for a table , we were given a menu and proceeded to order , big breakfast for me baked potato with cheese and beans for my daughter , we sat for an hour nearly waiting for the food to arrive my pot of tea was cold by now so went and did a refill , the sausages were dry beans cold and a puddle of oil under the fried bread hottest thing was the mushrooms temp wise , daughters cheese was not melted beans aired potato cold , also a couple who sat 15 minutes later than us got there’s food first breakfast x 2 and chips for a child ,
Overhaul a very poor state of affairs , must say the two waitresses were polite and pleasant when asked why the wait when hardly anyone in she said a couple had rang in sick in the morning , the total price with discount £4-18 good job and was robbed at that for the rubbish served too us .
