‪Despite limitations due to the covid-19 restrictions, the visit to the winery is worth it! It was free of charge, and no reservations were necessary, as the flow of visitors is reduced. We were received by a young host, employee of the Aurora winery, dressed in a traditional costume of the region, and she showed us the factory and explained about the history, the production process, and types of wines produced. At the end, one would normally participate in a session trying out the different products, but due to the protocols for the covid-19 pandemic, this was suspended. The tour finishes in the factory store, where all the different products are on sale, and at good prices. Worth the visit!‬

‪We were warmly greeted by two ladies in a nice costume and a wide smile though they don't speak English. A young lady, Ms Jacqueline, speaks excellent English and answers our many questions very patiently and with good knowledge. She guided us through our learning journey and the wine tasting session was fantastic. She deserves the highest commendation for making our visit an unexpectedly pleasant and memorable one! Very professionally run, nice set up and a worthwhile trip (mainly because of the meaningful and touching video and good location). Highly recommended.‬

‪I've been in many wineries and in none, I felt the smell that Aurora has on their main storage room. Smell of rotten food mixed with moisture.
The guide was good but the wines in the end were really weak.
There are better choices in Vale dos Vinhedos.‬

‪We were welcomed at reception by friendly girls. A small group of tourists which was nice because the employee of the Aurora can provide a VIP service. The winery's history has much in common with the history of wine in Rio Grande.
