Place was empty and closed but said it was open no body about looked derelict, travelled 40km to get there for a total disappointment

Visited twice while staying nearby. The first visit, it was just me and my son, and the sellers were quite pushy. Only visited a second time as my husband wanted to have a look around, and I was on the hunt for a new bag. This time, they were not as pushy, and we managed to buy some great bits. Definitely haggle the price and look around the different shops before buying. I found the same bag I liked for three different prices.

Great stores. Make sure you barter. We liked Havanna store. Non Pushy seller

We are not long home from Alanya and I will say we won't be rushing back to this area. We stumbled across the alara grand bazar as we wanted to check out the miami bar. Walking through was quite stressful, the shops were pretty much selling the same trainers/clothing at different prices, you get approached by every shop to come in, always asking 1st where you are from. One shop worker got quite aggressive because we didn't go in when we walked by a second time, my 14 year old son said a man grabbed him at one point pulling him to the shop, unreal...it's quite intimidating and in the end it pissed us off so much we had to leave. Not fair pricing for being fakes... Not for us... Won't be back.

The prices are cheap in local shops anyway and in this Bazaar which was not fully open was just a time pass ..it was OK as an outing

There are literally hundreds of shops selling various qualities of fake designer goods. Lots of them are really good quality and a fraction of the price paid in UK. If you stop to look at something you will immediately be pounced on by the shop assistant who will try to get in to look at things. If you want to buy haggle, the price always comes down. If you don’t want anything just walk away after a firm polite NO!
There is a free bus service from outside many of the hotels in Alara and runs every half hour.
The bazaar is open till midnight so it’s a great place to visit after dinner if you fancy an evening stroll - we took the free bus!

As someone who’d never been to a bazaar before, I must say it was a mostly pleasant experience. Most shop keepers are kind and friendly people trying to earn a living, although there are a few that can be rude and make you feel uncomfortable. A special mention to the lovely lady in ‘Hüdür Souvenir’ who gave me 2 items I liked as a gift, she was so sweet and it made my night!

Don't go to ALD JEWELLERY store! Don't buy anything from there, they are thieves! The jewellery are not sell at weight, even they have ticket on it...they are robbers and sell the jewellery at a very high price, almost 100 €/gram! i called the police, but they did not came...even i told them i did not get any receipt! So, if you don't want to ruin your vacation, don't go to ALD! 😪😪😪

Everything in Euros! Even though the currency is Liras. Overpriced to be honest. Need to barter hard to get the prices down. Quality is way better in Alanya Town itself. But the sellers here know that there isn’t many other Bazaars around so charge what they want. We ate food here and it was 2 adults and 2 kids. Adana kebabs/burgers with drinks and came to 50 Euros! It’s cheaper in the local turkish restaurant in the UK! Turkey is not the same no more - way to overpriced. Reason I didn’t give it 1 star is that the clothes and trainers I bought are actually not bad quality.

Is there anywhere that would change sterling into lira or am I best to do before I come?

The best to have is Euros or US Dollar. They also accept cards in most shops. Have Sterling changed before you go for shopping.

Kiedyś już pytałam ale teraz zbliża się mój wyjazd , więc szukam potwierdzenia, czy bazar faktycznie czynny 7dni w tygodniu i do późnych godzin wieczornych ??

Nie wiem jak rano ale jest czynny codziennie do późnych godzin nocnych my szliśmy po kolacji i wracaliśmy około 23 30 i jeszcze wszystko było otwarte ale niektórzy już zamykali po 23 obok jest centru soho też czynne co najmniej do 23 jak nie dłużej
