We stayed on the island in November 2016 and looked for a vegetarian specific place to eat and found blooming cactus online. Unfortunately we got the opening days wrong and drove to the town two different times when it was closed, but on the third attempt we found it open and it was really worth. The wait. Delicious food, great service, the chap that served us was English and very forthcoming and quite hilarious. The food was well made and delicious and the deserts were fabulous! I would definitely go there again :)
Nice out of the way restaurant. Authentic surroundings. Good service. Food fabulous although could have been hotter. Even picked up a couple of second hand English books. Best meal of the week. Well worth a visit. My friend who is not veggie loved it too.
The 4 of us drove to Puerto del Carmen and found Blooming Cactus Restaurant the ambiance and nicely decorated venue. The food was Excellent and the Staff so friendly and helpful very reasonable prices and wine choice very good. we recommend to all Travellers to go and try you will not be disappointed .
Lovely food in a nicely decorated venue. We went in a mixed group of vegans and celiacs and meat lovers and were delighted with the array of food. Good tasting chilli, satay and madras, must have! For good value we were able to pick a number of tapas and would recommend this place to any in the future.
We searched this place through Internet and the reviews are all good . The restaurant is in Puerto del carmen, the easier way to get there its to rent a car which we had it , to park it's easy too and there is no feed , the restaurant it's very cozy , well decorated and elegant. The restaurant it's running by people from uk . The menu is small but with good stuff, the food it's cooked freshly and testier, if you go there to eat keep space in your stomach to have the glorious vegan chocolate cheese cake , my god !! So good
