The hotel met all three requirements for a pleasant stay:
Comfortable bed
Quiet
Dark
The bed was a thick spring mattress on wooden planks. We asked reception for an extra blanket, because we don't like sleeping with the a/c on. The hotel does not have a dining room or a lobby, and was extremely quiet. The blackout curtains worked excellently, not allowing any light in from outside in the morning.
We were in room 12, which was extremely nice. I peeked in at a few other, unoccupied rooms, and they all looked very nice as well.
The TV was adjusted for Russian speech and Russian translations, but I was able to find the setup on the remote and change it all back to Hebrew translations with original soundtrack (mostly English). At first we couldn't figure out how to turn on YES at all, but a very helpful receptionist showed us how to turn on the satellite box.
The shower is one of the best I have ever encountered in a hotel - a great stream with lots of hot water.
There is a microwave oven but no fridge in the rooms, but the receptionist put what we needed in the hotel's freezer. If you leave the hotel and turn left, there are many restaurants serving both breakfast and dinner, and a couple of nearby supermarkets.
There is a wide variety of snacks and alcohol for sale at reception. Because the floor of the shower is so slippery, we bought a pair of rubber-soled bathroom slippers for NIS 10.
The electricity in the bathroom works even when all the lights are out. I highly recommend bringing a night-light for the bathroom, as the room is pretty dark at night. All the electricity is 220v.
Our room had an unusual feature, which we didn't like: the bathroom, including the toilet, is surrounded by clear glass from chest-level up, so there's no privacy. Next time I'll probably ask for a room which is a little more discrete. Since we are a couple, though, it didn't really matter to us.
There is free, private parking. There is no way for a person in a wheelchair to enter the hotel, as there are a couple of steps from the street to the elevator.
A few recommendations to the management: there should be a couple of hooks in the bathroom, or at least in the bedroom, for wet towels. Soap at the sink would be a nice touch - we received bottles of soap, but only on request. Most important, there should be a grab bar in the shower - if you slip, you've had it! There's a sign on the door saying you can dial 777 for reception. The receptionist told us to dial 0 instead. They should update the sign.
The doors only normally lock from the inside, but we asked for an outside key so we could lock the door while we were away.
There are slightly more expensive rooms with Jacuzzis, nicer chairs, and mini-suites available, but we just needed a standard room, priced very reasonably for Israel.
We'll be going back next time we need to stay overnight in Rishon Letzion.
