This is my first stay with Poshtel and when i landed at 10 pm..i was a bit taken aback as it is a home converted to a property and does not have the usual big lobby, a stand alone restaurant but ws pleasantly surprised to see the room had all the required amenities..clean and a very comfortable bed.
But what stood out was the exceptional service with a big smile... so much so that our TV there seems to have had a problem and before we knew it..Ram brought another TV and got it sorted in 30 mins.
Any call made ..the action was taken in 5 mins... i have stayed in best of the properties in the country and post covid seen a huge deterioration in the service quality and basic comprehension skills and i was really impressed with the level of service at poshtel. Yaya at front office, Ram, the security guard another person in night shift all deserve a big pat.
The food also was pretty tasty..i had only breakfast but well prepared.. it does inspire me to check out other properties of poshtel.

Horrible in terms of experiences - not well kept/maintained. The pictures online may seem appealing, everything else is a major let down.
Please don’t buy a food package as the only option that is available is a thali (lunch/dinner), that to served cold, with a refusal to reheat.
Breakfast does not start in time as the chef himself arrives post 7:30 am, post which a setup is done and then by the time they are ready to serve unfortunately you have to leave.
Showers do not have any pressure hence we had no option but to call for a bucket and tumbler.
The staff just don’t seem to care, every-time you go to them with a query, they give a blank look and reply.
There are other hotels nearby with similar prices and facilities, please do select them as they are full fledged hotels and not “hotel like” establishments.
I thought poshtel was an establishment like Bloom, however it has been a major letdown.

The hotel is quiet and clean. The staff specially yaya at the desk were courteous. Room was amazing with all modern facilities and a very comfortable bed. Location is nice They could increase their breakfast options a bit. Though it was very tasty.

This is a great place to stay when in Varanasi. Infact,this is a great place for staycation as well for local Varanasi people. It is just 3 kms from Cant railway station. Staff is very humble. Room interiors are very aesthetic. Food is great as well. The cook fresh and serve. 5/5 in terms of overall experience.

It was our first visit to Varanasi. Having booked the king studio, we expected a decent experience. However, the experience was far from decent. We had requested for an early check in (at 12:30). We were checked in post 3pm (normal check In time). Lunch was served after 45 minutes of ordering. The milk sachets in the room was beyond expiry. The hot was stopped in the middle of the bath and there was no option to bathe with cold water when the weather outside was 5 degrees Celsius. With handles falling apart and no heaters in all rooms , it was a huge compromise. Finally, off the two rooms we had on the first day informed them that the check out for one was after 2 nights and not 3 like the other. But some lane explanation was given to us even then. Please do reconsider your stay here. There are many many options in and around and you may end up paying the same or lesser for a far better experience.
