Worst "hotel " experience we have ever had..Booked in for Friday and Saturday night bed and breakfast. Shabbat dinner was unavailable. Shabbat breakfast terrible.... Cold room out in a field at back of building. No towels in room had to beg.....Sunday morning there was no breakfast even though we had booked for same.. Hotel was deserted, dirty plates, food and rubbish all over the place. We finished up with a piece of cake and a cup of coffee... All this for a very high price.... We did laugh though, imagining that this was one of the plagues blown across from Eygpt.
Avoid at all costs, even for free its not worth it !!!!!.
Staff were good though, did not bother us at all. In fact saw none.
Have a good time folks....

Recommend to avoid

We stayed there for 2 nights with the family.
The location is great, near the beach. However, the service, the maintenance, the staff attitude is hard to describe.
I would strongly recommend to avoid. I would never again stay in this place.

Not so much

Hotel is located in a very nice area near the beach which is very nice.
However the maintenance of the hotel is low ,needs a lot of work.
If you get a good deal and do not care about appearance and maintenance it's ok.
It's a no stars hotel.
The near by western. galili is a very nice area to travel take the small roads rather then the highway

Fair enough

I stayed at this hotel in a group. It was fit for purpose - a cheap and cheerful lodging in a really calm and quiet location. There is a nice calm beach and a relaxed residential area to walk around. The staff were attentive, and fulfilled small requests promptly instead of ignoring them. The pool was closed in mid April.

Return visit a big disappointment

Forget about our glowing review of July 2011! This time our booking was for the same 'garden room' as before but for 8 days in early March 2012. Big mistake! Because this is not 'in season' the place was a dump - cold, damp, flooded, empty and creepy (The Shinning anyone?). We didn't get the garden room, we got a sub standard room on the second floor of the 'motel' side of the place that stank of cheap room deodoriser and was so cold (even with the heating) we borrowed all the doonas and blankets from another room. We had booked with half board (Breakfast and dinner) but most dinners and breakfast were 'cancelled' at the last minute becase we were either the only guests in the hotel or there weren't enough guests. This dump is a 10mns car ride outside Nahariya so you can't just pop into a cafe next door either! On the few occasions the dinning room was open (Shabbat and for a Bat Mitzvah) we were actually fed (because caterers came onto the premises!) but the hotel chef was beyond rude and gave us the clear impression we were not welcome. We were busy driving around the North every day all day and so didn't have a choice in staying there or the energy to search of alternative accommodation, but trust me, never again! If a hotel is open, then it's open with ALL SERVICES open, including lights in public areas and dinning room at mealtimes. If you can't provide those basic services, you shouldn't take a booking. Shame on you!
